Then heat water and fill rest of the way. The most awesome hot chocolate EVER. I would drink it when I wasnt on a diet. I have it every morning instead of coffee

I got home from work today and had to change clothes quickly and head to my father's B-day party... anyway, I grabbed a pair of jeans from the closet and just pulled them on. Didnt unbutton them... just pulled them on. They were loose. So, I didnt even look at the tag... until later They were 18's!! I decided to check when I got home. That was a fun surprise. yeah! EDIT/UPDATE!!! I just got on my elliptical and did 30 Minutes!!! OMG I didn't have anyone to tell but all of you!! I'm so excited. My heart rate was 118 when i got done... and I wasn't going slow at all. Yeah!!

jill - yeah, it ws just to cut down on the number of posts... it was hard coming back and having 5 nwe pages to read through. that's the only reason. We just tried to get people that had been there since the beginning and might want a way to talk to each other and leave the December thread for new topics transformer - congrats on the loss!! I havent lost a thing in over a week... it is frustrating :-( bkwalling -- ive read that you can pull a stitch in that area and it can hurt for a couple of days... it didnt seem that it would damage anything... it just might feel sore for a few days... dont forget they sew'ed that badboy down to the muscle wall -- if we get a little too active we can agrivate it Nat -- dont worry about their comments... they are just very sensitive and havent been on the board long; we kind of all talk to eachother like old friends, and I think that they just didnt know how to take it. It is CERTAINLY NOT you. You're a riot and a sweetheart! You were just tellin' it straight. We all know what it is like to be defensive. That was all they were doing. I wouldnt give it another thought. :-) I also know, Nat, how it feels to be such a good cheerleader for everyone else and then sit there at night thinking, "what the hell am I doing?" It is so easy to say and so HARD to believe. I am right here with you baby girl. I am going to go get on that damn elliptcal machine for you. I will do my 10 min... and you better go get on yours and race me!! P.S. I am going right now. So, if your awake you better hurry. (HA!) "A skinny b*tch is a confused b*tch. Why you shakin' b*tch? Cuz you hunrgy! Get that girl a two piece and a biscuit... mmmm!" (I love monique) Steph - you go girl! being productive! I wish I'd got something done today. I did well on my Protein, but I think I still am eating too much. But then again... I am really not eating much at all -- how freaking starving to I have to be in order to lose!?!?! That's it. I'm doing my liquid preop diet again. :faint: Claudia - I dont think any of us have the swiss band.. I think we are all Inamed -- unless I missed it somewhere... (which I have been known to do) hehe smithkr1 - If you find a cow to eat, let me know!! I will help you out. I wish I could get past this head hunger. My tummer is NOT growling. I wish my head would stop growling too!!! Dawnae - I'm so glad you came to find us. It was awful hard to keep up over there. We all talk more than enough to keep us all busy!

Well, you'll like Nat she's freakin hilarious. You can be comfortable here, and always remember... we are ALL in the same boat. I've been on this thread a long time... and everyone is always 100% understanding. BUT they will kick ur butt and help keep you on track too... Welcome to the board. Feel free to pick right back... we all need the encouragement.

Nat!! people can read your ass?? Visually effective and freakin hilarious! haha You ever watch Queens of Comedy? "Its a big 'ole ingnorant ass. The kind, where you in a club, an a man can set his drink up on it... and you don't even know" "A wrap around ass" If you haven't seen it... you need to. Funny!

Dream - Nat is a tough love kinda girl... so dont think it was meant negativly... You have to read it in the "playful, telling it like it is" kinda tone. Trust us, we understand... read back a few pages and you will see all of us saying the same things you are saying right now. We just like to keep ourselves on track while still empathizing with what your feeling :-)

Hey have guys ran across this site yet?? http://www.flavourspraydiet.com/flavors.html (They are flavored sprays with only 20mgs of salt and no carbs, fat) I don't know if it is something for me or not, but I thought I would share it with all of you. Somebody may want to try them. Also, here is a actual video my doc (Dr C) put online of a fill being done: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwBrOoqRVhg]YouTube - 8 second lap band fill[/ame] It only takes him 8 seconds to do without fluro... in case you all were wondering what it looks like. I think Nat already saw it. I thought some of you might also be interested. -------------- Hey Claud! You're welcome. I still post on the other thread too, but it was getting really confusing over there... we needed to split things up a bit. It was KayDots idea originally... I just decided to help her out and get it all started up. I'm glad you found us! :-)

yeah, we are keeping a total of everyone on the board just send them to KayDot and she will update them as she can... dream -- it is totally normal to be moody. I was and still am moody. I miss my security blanket (being able to eat when im sad or bored). I don't miss the weight ive lost... but I am still a recovering "food addict" that is for sure. One bite and I want to relapse. :-) but I am getting better at making myself slow down... take my time.. and eat smallllllll portions.

Oh no, now I went and made my title too catchy!! I think this will probably be fine. Lets ride it out a few days and see how things go. Then we will resort to plan "B" if it doesn't work. Elliptical news: I made it up to 15 minutes without being to exhausted yesterday evening... for a total of 25 minutes on the elliptcal yesterday... I am getting better. I just get so damn bored on the thing... even when I'm watching TV. I do love it though. It really get your heart rate up and keeps it there. Steph -- I would look into getting one if you really want it. However, they aren't "easy" by any means... they will make you tired quickly when you first start. Trust me. I've been doing battle with mine all week :-)

Ok ladies... I contacted every who was an original -- PM'd them all and sent the link to this spot. :-) So, that should help us keep a bit better track of those we already know. I am going to keep posting to the other new people on the old board, but this way we can keep up with the people we have already gotten to know withOUT all of the extra posts popping up in between... so, yeah... Steph ate a candy bar!!! hehe I drank the equivilant of a liquid candy bar last weekend... dont feel bad. We all have our weak moments. We can't all be as cool as Nat hehe, thank you Nat for kicking us all in the behind. We will all need it from time to time... I will kick yours when ever you need it. You Elliptical Goddess you!

MYSTIQUE - no worries honey... you're doing great. Look at what I did last weekend!! What an idiot I was! BUT we just get started all over again and remember tomorrow is a new day. Heck, tonight is a new night... no reason to wait till tomorrow to get back on track. hang in there :-) I know exactly how you feel. I walked a mile then did 10 minutes on the elliptical. I can't go much longer than that right now. I don't know how Nat does it for 30 minutes. She is a machine. CLAUDIAGDLMEX - I know that sad feeling. I dont understand how I can work out more... eat less... and NOTHING! :-) it is kind of a bummer... along with what the rest of my life brings me... ironically enough, ALL of this frustration is my happiest part. I did this to focus on better things. So, I keep reminding myself that even at it's most frustrating it is better than what I had to think about before. (not that is helps, I am much better at cheering on others that I am at cheering on myself) Steph - I just saw my doc to get the tape off, and will see him again on the 18th to get my fill. I don't have a support group... soooo I hope he is seeing enough of me. I never thought about it until now. Nat - thanks for the Protein list. I was too lazy to go find one myself. ha KayDot - 232 that sounds like a good number! I will race ya... hehe You know my family ordered pizza while I was there the other day... i tasted some of the sauce and pepperoni (just a bite)... it wasnt even good tasting for some reason... i didnt even want it! now that is a change from preband

Pouch Dilation?
Questions: Stretching your pouch... now is that something that you can do easily? like you over-eat ONE time? Or is it something that you do over a period of weeks? over eating repeatedly? Can you stretch it if you drink too much Fluid to fast? or is it only with solids? Everytime I think I might have had a bite too much i freak out. Just wanted some clarification that will (hopefully) keep me from worrying so much.

Love you guys too! I am stuck as well... I dont know what I'm doing wrong... i know it isnt eating tooo many calories... I must not be getting enough Protein or something. Trying to up the protein starting to today to see what happens... At this point we are all just dieting our asses off. Isnt it annoying that the majority of all of our weightloss is just sheer will power right now? Damn - makes me a bit angry at the hefty price tag. but i am being negative right now... when I get a fill it will be a bit more worth it...

(sigh) at least im not the only one then... :-) thank goodness. im still behaving with my eating... soooooo. I just figured that it made me feel better to say it, and if anyone else did it... they would feel like they weren't alone. Learn from my mistakes. I think that outta hold me over for at least a couple more months (or longer)... lol I am still using my elliptical machine... pureeing everything in sight. :-) Boy, some things just don't taste right when they are all mushed up.

Bandiva dont use peroxide on incisions... only alcohol!! I have a ton of piercings that that is RULE #1!! Peroxide bubbles the dirt but then when done bubbling gets back into the deep incision taking the dirt in with it... USE alcohol. It drys instantly and keeps the dirt OUT. :-) I dont want you to get an infection :-)

Scorpio - the needle they gave Karen (in my understanding) was for emergency unfills. It was given to her because there is a chance that an emergency room will not have the needle they need on hand... if she needs an unfill done immediately. Come on everyone. I love ya. Lets keep things positive here :-) This is our December home. Denise -- Welcome! I am so glad to hear you are doing well. It doesnt necessarily get worse. You just feel swollen and stiff. Which is to be expected. No matter how bad you feel. Keep getting up and walking! It will make it all pass much more quickly. SassyladyNplano -- YEAH!! You're back! glad to see you are doing well. Missed you! My first fill is January 17th! Seems really soon, but my doctor says I am healing extremely quick. He thinks I will be more than ready in 3 weeks. WOW.
