  1. absolutely! i'm down about 160 pounds and just on a hold until i deliver my baby. as long as you remember that the band is a tool and not a cure-all, you'll do fabulously. best of luck to you!
  2. Mac, glad all testing is finished! ahhh, paperwork.. good luck!
  3. hi D, i actually registered for the full and for the half (couldnt make up my mind ) since i registered, however, i became pregnant due in February, so it's not going to happen this year. best of luck to you on all your races!!!
  4. i hear you Leslie!! this is my last Friday working! yay!!! She - i am so incredibly sorry for your loss of your GM (cant remember if i posted to your blog). let me know if you need anything.
  5. OMG Susan, i would have walked as well...
  6. oh dear! i put in my 2 weeks notice Tuesday, last day is the 15th ... we'll all be out of jobs... it'll be anarchy (love breakfast club!!) sorry you guys are having job issues...
  7. *sigh* my last full week at my job and the bathrooms are closed on my floor ... ever try walking up 25 steps with a full bladder? other than that ... it's a GLORIOUS week!!! YAY!
  8. posting to say that i absolutely love my band!! :tt2:
  9. i've been accepted, just need to take the tests now ... you like it?
  10. glou - lol ... that's ok ... i just dispensed medical advice to your comments on your blog... i'm just worried that i missed something in the budget that would make it 'not ok'... ya know??? i guess there's always cha-cha if things get tight...
  11. sorry you ladies are sleeping horribly and feeling bad. just posting to say i just gave my 2 weeks notice at my job... now i'm petrified...
  12. sorry you're so hungry.. :tt2: you CAN get a fill while pregnant (clear it with your band doc and OB first, of course)... obviously,, do not get it under x-ray though. i was unfilled almost 1/2 way due to my morning sickness, then filled a bit back up and i just went in for a slight unfill cause i was too tight. no need to suffer. you can still use this tool during pregnancy! good luck..
  13. i cant even imagine needing to eat that much!!!
  14. SnT - yay for your friend(s).. glad the girl kicked the guy's tail!!
  15. ....................................
  16. im just posting to say that *sniff* *sniff* *sniff* i. am. sooo. sooooo. incredibly. SAD ... so sad.:wink2::biggrin::thumbup::frown::lol:
  17. well, not only am i an admin/mod, i am a regular user. you said it!
  18. and as a mod, its not really proper to ignore users. that's ok, i need a good eyeroll and shake of the head a few times a day.
  19. that sounds YUMMIE! thanks
  20. fairy, i cant remember when i started getting up TONS to pee it was pretty early though - maybe 6.5 weeks ??? ... at it's worst, i counted it was 15 times in one night... absolutely CRAZY!
  21. i STILL get up to pee at least 3-4 times a night ... it has gotten better, but geesh! no wonder i cant sleep..
  22. just agreeing and stating an opinion... the ignore works both ways. She - i wish the US was as medically progressive with the band as Aus is. yes, i was HUGE (5'9" 402) when banded, i wish i would have known about it when i was 200-300 pounds. i would have begged and borrowed to have been able to pay for it - insurance coverage or not.
