Nice to hear. I am currently on vacation. I cannot drink wine anymore. I used to order 2-3 glasses per meal. I cannot order an App and a main course anymore so for now all I am ordering is the main course and to boot I usually ask for a dogie bag. If I don't ask for the dogie bag it's because the meal is not good enough to try to eat later. We stopped at a Ruby Tuesday restaurant for lunch the other day and all I ordered was the salad bar. I left half of my salad on the plate. I am embarrased to be wasting food. I left so many restaurants in the last week with most of my food on my plate. I was ashamed. So many people with not enough food to eat and I was the cause of sooo much waste. Has anyone been able to go to a restaurant and be able to chose something without waste?

Hi Ya'll, Finally got an internet connection. Vacation is great. I'll attach a few photos in another post. I called the clinic yesterday to set up a fill and no reply. I phoned back today and told the person answering the phone that no one called me back so she took a message and said that she would forward it. Tammy phones back today and said " Well I guess we have been playing telephone tag" I didn't know what to say, ya see because she never phoned back. Does she not know that in this day and age people have call display and call answer? Anyhooo... she told me that she would fax off the infor to the Doc in Ottawa. I phoned the Doc in Ottawa right after to book an appointment but I can't get in until April 30th. Now I'm trying to figure out if I should make the drive to Mississauga or wait until the end of April. Chloe, I live 1 hour from Ottawa. Let me know when you are going maybe we could connect. Maybe while the DH is on conference we could do some site seeing/shopping etc. Summer may be tricky to get time off so let me know the dates soon.

Donna, Dr Mumford in Mississauga did my surgery in Aug 2006. It cost $16,000. I think that rate is pretty standard in Ontario. Lambchops, Tylenol 3 is not an NSAID. It is acetaminophen with codeine and caffeine.

Hi Donna, no I have not found my sweet spot yet. Thought I had, but not yet. The weight loss has been extremely slow!!! I haven't given up yet. I am going on vacation but when I get back I'm going for another fill. Will keep ya posted.

I'm going to stay positive about Tammy. Let's say that I provided her with an opportunity to learn. As for the answer whether or not Naproxen-E is safe to take, I never got a phone call, so I presume that means it's safe. Or.....maybe she forgot to ask Dr. M........I don't like this way of communicating. I will phone the clinic tomorrow and ask for an answer. Next time I will tell her that I would appreciate a call back

Thanks for all the info Mandi. I found it very weird that Tammy didn't know that we should not take NSAIDs. She actually asked me why I thought that we should not take them. I told her that I thought I heard that it could cause erosion. Dr. M told me that it was OK to take it once in a while but not to use it on a regular basis. I just wanted to know if I could take the coated ones on a regular basis. I will let you know if I get a phone call tomorrow letting me know that I can't.

Wow Mandi you go through computer systems fast. Glad you are enjoying your income tax money. 4 weeks isn't all that long to wait for a fill. You may have just plateaued. Give yourself a break, you just went through a bad experience. Take care.

Well Cloe and Mandi are right. Tammy said that the pain is too low and that she would be more concerned if the pain occurred after I ate. Today it's just a dull ache so I'm not so worried. It will probably be gone by tomorrow. I am also experiencing a lot of back pain and my Doc prescribe Naproxen-E. It's a NSAID with enteric coating. I asked Tammy today while I was on the phone with her if it was OK to take them. She didn't even know that we should not take NSAIDS. My Doc said it was easier on the stomach but I just wanted the clinic to confirm that it was OK to take. Anyhow, Tammy said to start the meds. and she would ask Dr M. on Thursday and I would only hear from them if he thought that I should not take them.

Lol Yoda. Today I have a sore stomach. The pain is about 2 inches below the port and a little to the left. I called the clinic today to speak with the nurse (Tammy) but I was too late. I left a message. It's probably nothing but it's on my mind. What if it's the band? I just want the pain to go away!!!

Yup Yoda you are right, there is tax free outlet shopping in North Conway NH and there are 2 large outlet malls in Myrtle Beach. The weird thing about driving in New Hampshire is that there are huge tax free liqueur stores right on the highway, just pull off the highway buy your booze and get right back on the highway. It's just like the service station we have on the 401, fill up use the facilities and get your Tim's except there you get your liqueur. We are leaving March 27th and we should be back April 15th. Yoda are your in-laws golfers?
