Hey ladies, Sounds like everyone is doing well. Almost. Don't give up. I am still eating what I want including bread. My 1st fill was a bust. I go back on the 30th. I have lost about 8 pounds but I don't think that is nearly enough when it has been 6 weeks since my fill. I did not make my weight loss goal YET. I still have a couple of days-excluding tomorrow. I do believe that you can exercise too much. I only speak of this becuase I could have sworn another pcos'er was struggling along with me and I wanted your opinion. I stopped taking my MET cause It was cause me to have a menstration all the time. Since I started taking it a month and half ago my period has been on. I couldn't take it any long and just stoppe and guess what. It stopped too.

hi, ladies. Just checking in. I'm still not losing and I'm constantly hungry. I will be very happy when the end of the month comes so that I can get a fill and start losing again. It's so frustrating. UGH!

No that's weird. I say that because I felt like I had some swelling when I first got mine. Maybe the doc didn't put too much in so he knows you won't have any problems-maybe.

wow that is great! I'm still working my way to 50 punds. heck right now I'm working to 40 pounds. ("m at 35). I can't seem to stop eating.

I am every moment I walk past the stupid thing I weigh. I'm ready to stop but now I think I'm addicted. I think next, week (as difficult as it sounds) I am going to do it once.

hi, well since my fill I lost 4 pounds and then nothing. i am at a stand still. It's soo frustrating. No, I didn't go back for another fill. I've just try to con't to do what I am doing. I am eating more meat instead of veggies and carbs. It helps to with the hunger but I think well maybe its too much meat and its taking away from the food. ugh I just want 249 like yesterday.

I want my mother to get the surgery as well but she is now hesitating. She's been having a few medical problems now and I don't think that she will. That is very strange though. I have never heard of one so small. Does the doc says its that size for a reason. It may just to milk money out of us larger bands, especially since we go to doc so often.

Ive never heard of such a small band. JoJo, I don't think that were are "complaining" or dissatisfied we are just talking this process out. I'm hungry right now but I don't think that I would give my band up. It going to help me out sooner or later.

My band just isn't working. :thumbup: I'm not losing any weight. Well this week. I need to lose. I need to be 250 by monday. I am 253 and holding firm. just starting, I don't feel a thing. I'm hungry allllll the time. It's worse than with the band. I don't want to go back yet because everytime I go in there its a 60 co-pay. I am far from rich and that begins to add. I'm trying to watch what I eat but It's really very difficult. I know one thing they better not hesitate about giving me afill, even if I do lose weight. I know they hesitated this time around because Idid lose. My struggle to lose weight shouldn't merit whether I get filled or not.

Sorry, I don't. Except maybe your body is still adjusting. Also like you said maybe pms has something to do with it. I'm still hungry and don't know what to do with myself.

No, they didn't tell me how much that put in except that it is about the amount that they give to everyone. I don't know. I'm waiting to see once I started eating. I'm going to try to eat now. Wish me luck.

So its been two days. I can eat. I have something out to eat but all of a sudden I dont feel good-tummy wise. It feels like something is caught but I haven't eaten anything but applesauce. My friend bought it for me. It has sugar in it. I usually get sf but he doesn't know any better. Anyway, now I'm not feeling well. Yet i'm hungry. Yes I've had water. I don't know what to think. It sounds strange I know.

It's all better now. I kept seeing th string but I wouldn't cut it. Now I realize that it kept the whole open because it kept moving around. What may not have looked big really was to my body. I cut it so it and within the day it was healing. Thanks so much for the advice.

You're scaring me with the frothies(I like to make up my own words:lol: ) I finding out that I'm a bigger baby than I thought I was. when it comes to pain anyway. I'm on liquids for 2 days. again they are skipping mushies with me. You know the nurse was thinking that i shouldn't get a fill. I wanted to hit her in her head. It shear determination I had lost that amt of weight. Can I have some help please? Don't take that away from me. when doc came in he did it without hestition thank god. It hurt only because he couldn't find the port right away. He literally grabbed it like he was trying to hold it still while he poke me. ugh it hurt so bad. Once I laid down all things were clear and easy. I really wish I would have gotten more put in though.

Everyone, I AM STARVING!!!:closedeyes: I went for the fill yesterday, and I have been hearing from others how they don't have cravings or want anything etc etc. Well not me. Maybe I shouldve let him fill it all the way to the top. I'm on liquids right now and nothing is making the pangs go away. I need to eat! bad bad me but I had a few kernels of popcorn. I couldn't take it and I know its bad but I couldn't stand to hear my stomach any longer. Has anyone else gone thru this?

I've lost about 25 and I can't get them to shutup. thing is they have seen me smaller than I am now so i can't understand the big deal. It will happen for you too. Don't let people discourage you just make sure when they finally do comment you are looking GREAT!

hi everyone. I just had my first fill today. he had a hard time finding the port so he squeeze and move and poked. It felt like two bones rubbing together everytime he missed. He finally laid me down and got it right away. I did it the water way. It was simple. I think I coulda tolerated more saline but i didn't want to push it on the first go round. I am 258 by their scale. I go back in 6 weeks and my goal is 245. I CAN DO IT! I hope everyone has set a great goal. I also hope their experience is going well.

hmarko, is it difficult to take pills after the fill? I was filled today and I definitely won't take the pills while I am on liquids. I know it does help with my weight lose so I plan on staying on it until dr says things have changed with that. At my feel today I was told that I had a little salinealready inside. Well no wonder I couldn't eat as much as i used to. I am grateful. He didn't tell me how much in put in today. I may ask on the next fill. HOw often does one get filled?

Me Too! I noticed that when I was able to eat I started gaining. I think that's how I gained the 8 pounds. I got back on Met and have lost the 8 pounds. i can't seem to lose anymore but I have noticed that I have to stay on the met. I'm not diabetic I'm an Insulin Resister but the met really help. What has your doctor said about taking it after the fills?

small pin hole. A hole. Looks like I can see through to the other side-not really though. Today, I put a band aid on it and now i'm lettng it "breathe" and it seems to be closing.

donna I love the little duckie. Ladies, I have not been filled and I am eating too much. Also it looks like this hole is getting bigger. Nobody else has experienced this? I was going to wait and let them see when I get my fill of thursday but now I think I will call doc tomorrow to be sure.
