  1. :confused:I had my EGD on Friday, and what scares me is that I didn't go to sleep for the procedure. I don't know if that is bad, but they seemed like it doesn't happen very often. I don't know if they will even consider putting me fully under if I had issues with the EGD, so what is next? I meet the Dr. this Friday and get the results to my EGD, but a thousand things are going through my head, what if come surgery time I don't fall asleep and I can watch the whole thing???? Creepy! Has anyone else had this happen?

  4. I was wondering if you can stop weight loss if you feel you are at your ideal weight, and who decides your ideal weight? How do you maintain a healthy weight? I have never maintained a weight it has always fluxuated with me, alot. Also do they care if you used to be anorexic does that make any difference in there deciding if you are a canidate?
  5. Hi, I am a 33 year old disabled woman and my BMI is 37% I have GERD, Migraines, IBS, high choleserol, PTSD and more. I am currently looking into this surgery as a hopeful fix to some of my problems. I feel like I'm 66 with all the meds I take, so my question is can you still take alot of medication (pills) when your stomach is the size of your thumb? and does medicare ever pay for a lapband of someone less than 40% that doesn't have diabetes or high blood pressure? Thanks for your time.
