We are staying at the Escalipur on July 1. It is only 43 and change for 1 king size bed. I can let you know how the rooms are. Look good on line. Only thing I see is it is at the end of the strip away from downtown but close to the airport. Laura K

Hi All, Does any one have any prozac to share? My DD is going to drive me to drink soon. Moving Co doesn't want to come until Mon now so that throws a monkey wrench into the plans. She only gets half the info, can't seem to prioritize crap. Do they ever grow up? Ok hopefully I got that out of my system now. I am reading Dr Laura Schlessinger's book called "Stop whining, Start Living" It's pretty good, makes you stop and think how it all fits into your life. I am trying to put into practice some of the things she says with the situation right now. ughhhhhhhhh Not sure I can do Vegas in Oct as that is the 1st of our fiscal year here at work. I'll see what I can do, I can kill two birds with one stone on that trip, meet all of you fantastic ladies and see DD. Phyl, love the pics of your family. Great, yes we are and we are staying part of the day and the night in SLC. We decided that we want to explore the area a bit. Kurby, I started chaning my eating the day I went for my first consult. Lost 25 lbs before surg date. I think it made it easier for me to do the 10 liquids, mushies, and then onwards. I figured I was in this all the way or not at all. I didn't get the concept of "last supper". I still crave sugar at times but not the breads. You can do this, you are already ahead of the game by staying with these ladies and posting. Congrats to Nels for graduation. Charlene, you are amazing being able to do the shakes all this time. My Ex is 6'5" so I thought pics way up high is where they were supposed to be lol I'm 5'2", every time I hang something I have to move it down a couple of times. Phyl, My Ex also has a pig cooking business, he wraps the pork butt/shoulder/loin in foil before closing he pours in apple juice and garlic salt. Checks to see if they are still moist if not add more juice. One thing nice I can say is he can now cook great, at least pork and chicken. Laurak

Linda, Our plan is to stay in Des Moines on our first night. It will be a ten hr drive but we decided to travel longer on the first day as it will get pretty long after that. I guess I will just wait and see what happens, not oppossed to being a "cougar" lol No really don't want to young of one around. Karen, wonderful pic, you are so beautiful in and out. Janet, I've been thinking about the boot camp but they are doing it every night for a couple of weeks at a time. Kurby, you go girl sounds like you have a very busy time planned. That is a joke that has been going on around my house. I tease my DS and his buddy that I'm going to be a cougar. But then I think why do I want to finish raising someone elses child. lol There's one out there some where for me.

Man I love how you think. I can see myself just sun bathing on the front of that baby. yahoo..... I do love a man that can spar back and forth. I guess I was thinking an older one would be more settled but dang any more settled and he may be comatose. My Ex was younger, my last BF was the same age figured they didn't work may try an older one. I don't think that is going to work either. Janet, Yep had another date. Not sure this will work. He is older, had knee replaced, works many many hours & is kind of old fashion. I guess I would like someone who will be more active, he seems to be one of those that does not take care of himself, just keeps pushing on & can't figure out why he isn't healing. I don't mean to sound negative about him, he seems really nice. I guess since improving my health I want to continue being as active as I can be. He will need to keep up with me.. Julie, glad you are back among us again. Kurby, welcome aboard. Everyone here is very helpful, ask them anything. Joyce, that yoga retreat sounds like a cool experience. I have been thinking about trying yoga. Phyl, hope this helps with the reflux. You can do this.. Eva, I am not a domestic goddess either. When summer comes I want to be outside, my inside gets pushed to the back burner until I have to deal with it. Made a deal with my DS today. Linda, We leave on June 21st. Haven't really made any plans yet on how far, stops all that good stuff. Trying to keep my mouth shut and let her run the show. (dang hard to do) I like to plan and she is very laid back. Just found out tonight that she got her apt. Kids!!! Laura K

Hi All, I was up early today as the dog wanted to go out. My first friday to sleep in. We are on summer hrs now so I get every other one off. So I puttered around the yard all morning getting stuff spiffed up again, still planting and moving them around. Lori, you will make friends in no time. Great job on the unpacking. Phyl, hope DS follows thru with meds. Great, had my gall bladder out many yrs ago. Didn't know HRT could cause gall stones til many yrs later. Have CRS and don't remember what test they put me thru to diag. it. You are a strong lady and will make it thru this too. Hang in there. Laura K
