LOL Riley, you are doing good, and 111 lbs is no joke so yes chill and enjoy. BTW the chili was homemade kind of chunky but I added cheese of course.... then I just couldn't pass up the pork chop I ate the eye part of one. Didn't have any of the mac & Cheese I made :tt2: NOw I'm full. goodness! It's tough being a good cook. I tried on some of my stuff in my closet and everything is big  I don't want to go back to work wearing too big clothes then my weight loss will be noticeable. I wanted to ease into it have people notice gradually. soooo, I went to TJ Maxx today bought some size 12 jeans and pants for work. a few tops too, size L no more women's world for me! I can get away with jeans at work with a nice top and blazer or something. On days I have meetings no jeans so I'm going to have to work these 3 pair of pants I got. I think some of my dresses are still good though. Riley, we have to get together...maybe we can meet half way between north & east bay? Candra said she wanted to come up your way too. Anyway how much did people loose between surgery and 1st fill? Oh my appt is on the 29th, isn't that when the everybody is going?

Good morning everyone, those of you doing the walk good luck I'm sure you will have good time. Don't forget your water  Heather, girl don't stress about school. Take your break and pick it back up when you are ready. You won't succeed if you are not focused. Be glad that you are on track to loose weight and find a house that's enough. You can get both out of the way in no time and then be in a better place to tackle school. Reggie, I'm glad you are back on here, yea no snacks. That's a trip I went to the dentist yesterday and he told me i need a crown, after insurance $711. huh? Analynn keep up the good work! you are working it. Candra where are you? don't forget I know where you live..... I think I better do the bridge again this morning, I'm jones'n for a skinny latte. I can't wait till I get a fill I'm really struggling. I don't eat until like 1-2pm and then I can eat like crazy. yesterday meals b/L= taco bell pintos n cheese (only half of it) & the inside of a burrito D= 1 pc of sole fish, 3 french fries S= 2 sf popsicles btw not getting my water in at all, which is probably the problem cuz when I look at my food it doesn't look too bad but I still weigh the same. I have one week and 2 lbs to reach my back to work goal.

No I can't make the walk...I've got one more week before I go back to work and a whole lot of stuff to do. Seem like the sleeve is still hit and miss at Richmond, sounds like they are only offering it to "special" folks. BUt at least she was a success story.

just getting back home...family dinner b/L= 1/4 chili D= tasted everything on the table at a chinese restaurant...too much to name, but I still think I had about a cup total (all protein) Dessert- 1/4 cup of chocolate cake with frosting (I know) I don't feel bad at all. I think I did ok with dinner but I know the cake did me in. Weird thing is I never felt over full and everything went down just fine. Good to hear from all the strangers LOL ... John, Tina, Tamra John I met another lady who had the sleeve w/ Doc Fisher last night at the Richmond group meeting. She's quite happy, she had a few complications that ruled her out of RNY but didn't want the band. Any way I thougt her story was encouraging. Tina hang in there girl you'll be fine once you fully adjust. Tamra stay positive, you can drop those 9 in no time. Donna, take care, value the time you have with your mom. She needs you.

I just thought about the fact that I haven't had anything to eat today....NOt really hungry but I better go have something. Hate to say it Riley but could this be the beginning of the Big M? September 2009 Band Date
Hey everyone, just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing. I'm 3 weeks post op and feel pretty good. Even though I feel like I can eat anything I've been trying to stay within 1/2 cup. It's hard sometimes. I go back for my 1st fill on 10/29, I know a long ways away. I don't think I have anything in my band so I can't wait for the fill. Well it sounds like everyone is doing good, adjusting to this new life we choose for ourselves. One thing I do know I would do it all over again. I love this band! Take care, and keep up the good work.

good morning, well my scale has moved in the other direction today 1 lb. Most likely the chicken wings....Candra even though I only eat 1/2 cup I need to try and make better choices. It's the fact that I can eat anything. Like right now I'm craving mexican. I'll be at the richmond support tonight, I'll be early to drop off my return to work papers before they close at 5. I don't know what I'm going to do in between. Heather, good luck with your paper. Maybe and online class next will give you less stress. I know it's got to be tough especially trying to change your eating habits too. Pam get some rest, I know that the ER took a lot out of you. Make sure you daughter drinks lots of water. Tamra, keep applying for the those UC jobs, sometime it takes a while but keep at it, something will turn up. Riley I can't believe you missed a day of exercise LOL. I'm feeling that right now. Well hope you all have a nice day, I guess I'm going to get dressed and go get a smog for my car. I know sounds like so much fun. Chat with you all later.

Hi Pat, yes they do weigh you at the support meeting. If you don't want to be weighed then you can just sign in so it counts as being in the program. She usually starts weighing people about 10 min in advance so you don't have to be that early. And yes they weigh you at every other appt.

Hi Donna, so glad to hear from you. I know you've been busy but I'm sure your mom and family appreciates you being there for them. I'm not going to make the walk, it's such a good cause. You all have fun for me, I'll be there in spirit. Heather, don't stress. things will fall back into place sometime we need little breaks here and there. Just take it one day at a time and you will be out of the funk before you know it. Candra I would tell the dressmaker that you want to come in for another fitting in a couple months since you will be down a dress size or so. Also, maybe she can work on your dress last that way if there are major changes she won't have much to do  Good to hear from you Tamra...stay online it helps to get you on track Isn't the bariatrics lifestyle class the one we did right before surgery? the 2 part one? Listen everybody get out of the funk...we need each other.

Hi everyone, wow I have soooo much to say. ok here goes. I went to my PCP appt today it was really good. I really like her. Don't know if you all remember but she is the reason I even have the band. Last time I saw her she begged me to go to the orientation and "check it out" blah blah blah. When she walked in she was so excited that I did it she had me stand up turn around and she was giving me all kinds of compliments. I really felt good. We had a good conversation (long by Kaiser standards). Oh, she told me not to pick at my glue  but she did tell me to put vaseline on them and my aloe vera if I want. ok now for my confession...listen up Robin ... I am completely off of the program. I ate mushies for one day and have been eating regular ever since. Besides my yogurt I have been on straight protein. Still only having about a 1/4-1/2 cup each meal and I'm getting full so I'm working it. I've been really chewing, tonight I had crab and a side of mayo. Hubby came home with 2 live crabs so I cooked and cleaned them, ate about 3 legs and was full. I'm not having any problems with stuff getting stuck so I guess I'm ok. Best part I'm down almost 2 lbs. I'm not sure if I feel my band but I do know when I'm full and the only thing I know is I have never been able to eat a 1/2 cup of food and be done.

Hey there everyone, just getting in, had a full day. Bridge walk this morning and then a late lunch and hanging out with my girlfriends. We had a nice time. I did pretty good going out and all. We went to a fancy italian restaurant. I had some kind of bean and cheese Soup, and then for my entree I had the appetizer seared ahi. Yummy! I was very happy with my self until I stuck my fork in the terrimisu(sp) (twice) now that was good!!! I think I'm starting to tell that have the band too. after a few spoons of soup I stopped since I had the ahi coming. BUt I definitely knew when I was full. I was good Riley, didn't even taste the wine, not that it wasn't calling my name loud and clear. LOL Maria, I think the lifestyle class is offered every month so maybe you can catch the Nov one since your date is late Nov. Oh I have my PCP appt tomorrow, I started picking at my glue yesterday and I think I scratched myself, stupid me. My scale finally moved today down 1 lb we'll see what i am tomorrow before I go changing my ticker.
