My Surgery went well I am feeling pretty good. Slight pain when I get up but nothing to unbearable. It really wasn't to bad I was in the hospital about 8 hours total yesterday. I'm sure you will all do great. I just thought I would update everyone I got 5 small incisions. Good luck to you all. :Dancing_biggrin:

I am on day 5 of the pre op diet omg I am starving can't I even have fat free soup or something I have bad headaches and get dizzy very often help

Hi everyone I'm being banded June 3rd I am currently on my liquid diet the Atkins shakes their good! You can get them at walmart. I am getting so excited less than 2 weeks till my "new" life starts. the liquid diet isnt to bad. I also have a junk food lover of a husband who don't need to lose a pound and its hard to watch him eat but i'll be able to look and feel good soon enough. :thumbup: good luck everyone:thumbup:

Atkins is what i'm currently on and they are very good tasting all the flavors and there sold at Walmart

June 3rd is my date to be banded I am so excited I have gotten used to this liquid diet so I know I will get used to eating very little good luck everyone we can do this!

So after all the hoops I had to jump through I got approved today by Aetna and my doctors appointment is Friday to sign all the paper work so I am guess surgery should be in a month or so depending on how busy my surgeon is. I am so happy to get this news So does anyone know what the pre op diet consists of??

Hi Everyone I'm Ashley I have lots of questions. I have been wanted to get the Lap band but just dont know where to start everyone keeps telling me to go to a sminar so I did at manatee memorial in bradenton that didnt get me anywhere but still looking for the right doctor to perform the surgury. I live in North Port FL and wanted to get the surgury some where near by do any of you know of any great lap band surgons in sarasota or bradent fl? how does this work after I do find a doctor is there weight that has to come off before I get the surgury?? my bmi is 54 and i weight 334 lbs
