  1. OMG I cannot tell you how badly I despise this laptop keyboard!!! Had my post all ready, and overshot the backspace, and it is all gone...PITA!!!! Anyway....hi girls! I made it! Had about 60 maybe 70 miles of ice---but once I got over the continental divide, dropped below 7000 feet, and headed south, it cleared up and has stayed that way. Got Dad all checked in at the hospital---now he is free until 5:30 in the morning--surgery is scheduled for 7. I jinxed him! Remember me saying Mom always looks out for him and forgets her own things--well his shaving kit got left behind, so we have some minor shopping to do!! Plus we need dinner, but it is only 4---not time to eat....I keep telling them, we ought to go and avoid rush hour---they are ignoring me...but I am the one driving so I guess it doesn't matter!!! Going to post this before I hit something else!! Kat
  2. Well girls up and checking road conditions, does not appear to be any new snow, just lots of ice. Hopefully they will be working on sanding that. I think I have everything I need packed---as well as everything my Mom usually forgets!!! She gets flustered very easily, always has---and this surgery is somewhat risky---so she gets VERY flustered, and gets so busy getting Dads things all together and just so, she tends to forget about herself! She has always been that way--now it is Dad she is doting on, not us kids!!! I sound so cruel when I complain about the arrangements, we just keep totally different hours, and they have their ways, as I have mine. I sleep in total darkness! They leave the bathroom light on, so they can see around the motel room. And they have a travel clock with huge red numbers, and mom has lights on her CPAP---it is nothing big, but it is light as day in the room to me!!! Not to mention they are down before 9 and up at 4. And if one of them is up in the night, then they have a conversation! And the kicker, the seriously difficult one for me, is making sure I am wearing something, that if I kick off covers I am covered! I worry about the same thing with our get together! TMI--but this girl is used to sleeping in nothing. So.....before May I will be jammie shopping!! Well I have been chatting with you while I let my car warm up----actually letting the van warm up. Decided for several reasons to take it. My car is so low, Dad has to strain to get out once he is in, and they don't want any stress on his neck at all. Plus I have chains for the van, it runs a 15" tire, and they don't fit the 17's on my car...so the van is warming---and it has more space to warm!!! So I am shaking myself this morning, and telling myself I won't always have my parents who are wonderful loving people, so I am going to enjoy this time with them. Someday I will wake up in the night wishing I could hear them chatting. With that in mind, it is not my tip day--but if your parents are living call them and tell them you love them. I am worried for my Dad--please remember him in your prayers. Will try to check in from the motel tonight! Welcome to the newbie, finding me----Walmart even has summer stuff in now here, and there is a foot of snow on the ground!!! But I usually by work out capris at Target--love them!! I find them near the lingerie dept. Welcome! Hugs to all my Violets~~~ Kat
  3. LMAO--Cindy I re read that and went Uh Oh!!!!! Dunno, will have to see what all kind of lessons Jane wants to give!! You going to be able to join us for our get together??? Kat
  4. I am in Aztec!! I have met one other woman on here from Bloomfield---she was not interested in a support group! I know of 4 other locals who are all banded. I am headed to Albq. first thing in the morning---my Dad is having carotid artery surgery at Presbyterian Friday morning. Where is your seminar? PM me, and I will give you my cell #. Kat
  5. Jennifer, this is going to sound very morbid, and cruel, but when you go to court, you need to be sure if your FDBF (I added former) has life insurance, or if his deteriorating health is caused or exacerbated by his accident that his kids receive an equal amount as anyone else named in any life insurance policies, and or settlements. It can be done! And make it a court ordered attachment, don't just take his word that the kids will get it. He might have family or friends come out of the woodwork! I hope for all of your sakes, he returns to taking care of himself---and lives a long life---but cover your a$$!!! Well I got the car loaded, took the survival kit----makes it sound serious!! It might be for awhile, the roads are black ice right now, I have no reason to believe that early in the morning they will be any different! The worst area is about 75 miles away, and will stay bad for probably 45 miles, then it should begin getting better and improve steadily. Right now the highway I have to take is ranked 3rd worst in the state, but it is open! The worst 2 are closed!!! Seriously though, if I get out there and it is too bad, I will simply turn around and we make some phone calls and deal with it. We would just cancel, but the window of opportunity to do the surgery this way is a small window, and they were pushing it when they had to schedule him 2 weeks out. But with all the holidays---that is how it worked. I have to have him there by noon tomorrow for a hospital check in, then he is free until 6 AM Friday morning. His surgery is first on the docket. We have some things we want to do tomorrow afternoon---shopping for my brothers birthday. Then we will have an early dinner, and they will want to go to bed by 8:30!!! Taking my laptop, hope I have WiFi!!! I don't from his hospital, but will look for a motel with it! I did not reserve because we waited til the last minute to decide for sure whether to go or not. Should not be an issue to get a room---wish it were 2!!! I am such a bad DD!!! Tracy---my DH saw your pics in your shirt, and he said "WOW!" And I agree---wonderful change!!! You should post them on the before and after page! Inspire the newbies!! Michelle--I'd tell you we would behave so as not to offend you, but it would probably be a lie. We will just have to warn you so you can cover the post and go LA LA LA LA LA !!! Suzie---with the additional uric acid in your body--did you ever have issues with gout or anything from it? My best friends husband, Gary has terrible problems with gout if he is not careful with his diet, and they told him it was excessive uric acid, and it is crystalizing or something. How scary---do you stay in touch with other workers, so you know if you all have something similar going on? Do they cover the cost of all these appointments and meds? Not that it is any of my business!! Sorry! Jane---you said you would give bang lessons--I needed them tonight, I cut mine!!! Well I am going to go surf---will look in before calling it a night. Kat
  6. Most of us are probably obsolete Mandy----but we are in good company!!! And I am of the opinion, if it ain't broke, don't fix it! I'll hang on to this one for as long as possible, then if need be I will upgrade!!! Hope you feel better soon, and that your Xrays are ok!! Hugs! Kat
  7. Hi! I was banded in Mexicali MX. I live in the Farmington area. You? Kat
  8. I have had a total hysterectomy---so no issue for me, I just wondered. For years they went on about girls and their hormones, and they affect boys too!!! I remember those days!!! My son is now 28, and daughters are 26 & 25. Kat
  9. Sometimes a few sips of something warm/hot helps to loosen things up....otherwise just do liquids for a few days, very, very s lowly. So sorry to hear you lost your Uncle ((((hugs)))) Kat
  10. Speaking of your DH's occasional ear hair made me remember an event of a few years ago. I had cut my DH's hair not long before---and we were at his parents over the holidays, and I was sitting on the couch, he was laying with his head in my lap, I saw this hair, I swear I thought it was loose, so I pulled it---like to keep it out of his ear! He levitated them jumped up all the while yelling "What the hell did you do that for?" I was laughing so hard I could not answer, he was pissed at me for laughing, and his Mom had no idea what had happened, later she told me, she thought I had passed gas with his head in my lap! OMG NO!!!!!!!! I would guess from his reaction, your plucking his ear hair would hurt like hell!!! Do so at your own risk! Kat
  11. I'm sorry you are having to deal with that Pamela. Had Mom been sick long? Or was this totally unexpected? Been packing winter gear so I can load my car. Roads look like they will be icy tomorrow, so need some Just In Case provisions. Better Safe than Sorry! Kat
  12. A few months before banding, I was taken to the ER ---- and in triage, she ask me my weight! Rick was sitting right there. I hedged---I said 275. It was a good 10 lbs under, but no one ever believed me anyway so it was fine, but I was horrified he knew. It might have been a defining moment, that I knew something had to be done. That and I kept thinking when he took me in, that if I had called 911---they may not have been able to lift me! Now I weigh less than he does. We are about an inch different in height is all---and for the first time in 15 years--I weigh less than he does. He is watching his---in a way----his idea of watching his weight, it to eat carefully through the day so he can afford his nightly ice cream!!! But he will get on the scale, and tell me what he weighs, and then tell me "ok come show off!" He sees the numbers, what has shocked him is how I have went from being unable to button his shirts around me, or his Tshirts being skin tight to unwearable---I went through a stage where they fit, and now they are too big! For a recent company party they took orders for coats with the company logo....used to be I would have ordered the biggest size available. He ask me if he should order 2 XL's. I said no make mine L. He saw it on me yesterday and just smiled real big! So yeah he knows. Originally I hid it, when it finally come out is when I was spurred on to do something! I think if I dig deep I might still find a secret or 2!! Kat
  13. How horrible! How old is Maria? And her sister? He is coming back to the states with them? Poor babies. Prayers said, and will continue. Do the other kids in the class know yet what is going on? It is going to make things disruptive for awhile---poor kids, life is hard enough as it is. Hugs for you as you cope, and help them deal with it... Kat
  14. Oh Tracy, I can roll my rrrrrrr's!!! NYE when we were out, they played La Bamba---and I was well on my way to feeling good then----when our friend Jerry who was playing bass guitar, did his piece going into the refrain, I let loose with a RRRRRRRRRRR-HA---scared my DH and Beck and Gary half to death!! We used to do it back in my single days with the Mexican music they would play--I love it! Pamela---where I live there are lots (almost majority) of Indians--as in Native American. Well in the last few years, a huge influx of Dr.'s and others moving to the area are of India Indian heritage. So leave it to my DD, she began doing this thing, it absolutely cracked me up she will define them---and not rudely so, but in a conversation to me she will say "Dot not Feather" as she touches her forehead and does the 2 fingers behind the head for an Indian of India descent,....or "Feather not Dot" for our local Native Americans. She has our entire family doing it, in a non thinking manner anymore, as well as her entire entourage of friends. One of which is a young man she works with who is from India. He makes fun of her by walking in with his fingers behind his head---and telling everyone he is trying to confuse the blonde!!! So you have Dot not Feather Indians in your class!!! Manda just picked up Kinsey, and said that Chris is stuck in a small town SW of me that I will have to go through tomorrow to get to Albq. The DOT shut him down due to road conditions. Lovely. I need to pack, and put some bad weather provisions in my car. We have looked at the web site for travel but it just says snow packed in spots, but Chris is stuck! Chris is Becky's oldest son, but the kids are in touch all the time--she was raised with those boys! Not looking forward to this trip for sooooo many reasons! I have managed a bottle of water, and a cup of hot tea, and have a pitcher of iced tea brewing now, so my intake will go way up now!! Haydee, you and Laura---are just in a rough situation, everyone feeling their way along, is difficult! Laura, I know you could have hung the swing! I also understand why you didn't---and many years ago would have done the same, now I would have hung it myself, and when it was not going well I would have thrown something----and said bad words, and let him finish it!! We have obviously found our paths!!! You will too---keep in mind, even though we don't like to admit it--all the things you are feeling, the overwhelming emotions, the fear, the anger, the occasional disgust----they are feeling too. And they are much less equiped to handle those feelings than we are, from years of not acknowledging them. A boy in junior high school through college, is not supposed to show any emotion around their buddies but maybe anger. Where when someone hurt us, we could cry with our friends, or bitch and moan----they didn't. Not being his Mom is a great way to begin enforcing him to not act like a child--I agree!!! Hugs to you girls, I see my kids struggling through young relationships, and that is all I can do, relate as much as possible, and hand out hugs! On the subject of fills--I had 1.75cc at the last they looked, they have done nothing other than talk to me inover a year, if it ain't broke they ain't touchin' it!!!! OK---I am off to locate my suitcase, and begin......I must do something!!! BBL~~ Kat
  15. The biggest difference I found in losing with the band vs. without it, is the lack of hunger involved, and the control I feel. When you get to a proper fill level, where you can eat healthy food, including hard Proteins, then it controls the amount you eat--and it is simple! If you do not have proper restriction, it makes the band difficult. Too tight, and you cannot eat many foods, and most of them being the ones good for you! So you eat mushie things, and unhealthy things, which prevents weight loss. Too loose, and you simply can eat too much food as before, the band does not restrict it from filling your lower portion of stomach same as before banding. If you have a good restriction level, and can eat accordingly---you feel full VERY quickly! The nerves that send the signal of fullness are at the top of the stomach--so with the band properly filled, it holds food in the pouch for long enough to signal fullness, and slowly allows it to process through as normal. Too tight, it takes too long, and food becomes stuck. Too loose, and it flows through, and you do not feel full. It takes some people several fills to get to that point, and others--myself for instance it only took 2 fills. While dieting it still easier with the band on the way up to restriction it is not doing its full job until that level is acheived. When it is a good level, hunger is not something you feel much anymore. I cannot remember the last time my stomach was actually hungry, as far as growling, and grumbling hunger--well over a year and a half ago! Now head hunger, when I crave something still happens! Not nearly as frequently, the healthier I eat, the less often it happens!!! I chose not to diet per se. I do not avoid any foods, I rely on my limited amounts to drop the weight. It is just much easier to make a wise food choice when you are not starving as you make the choice. When you can go into a restaurant and sit down and not be starving, you can logically look at the menu and make a choice. When you walk in to your home after a long day of work, you have no issue of taking a minute to roll up a piece of lunchmeat and cheese say instead of quickly grabbing a bag of chips or a box of Cookies. You may go slower than a high BMI patient, I notice the lower I get, the slower it goes. Not sure if that is from personal slacking or whether it is due to the fact I have to do more to help it come off! The less you weigh the less you need to survive! But it will come off, if you work with your band! The band gives me CONTROL! I did not have it without it. Good Luck~~~And welcome to LBT!! Kat
  16. HI~~ welcome to LBT, and welcome to bandland! If you have been using any type of pain medication, that is likely responsible for your constipation. Once you get off of it, and begin feeling more able to drink liquids, it usually goes the other direction, and you end up with a few days of liquid in = liquid out. I can just hear the thoughts in your head--What in the Hell have I done??!! That is normal!!! It improves quickly! You might notice a sudden and drastic change in your weight after a few days, especially when your bowels go to working---it is the body releasing all the fluids it was given by IV, and the swelling subsiding. As it does, your desire for food, and drink should return. And before long you will be wanting food you cannot have! It sounds like trading one evil for another for a few weeks! It IS however very worth it! Take it easy, sip lots, and walk lots. If you find yourself easily fatigued, drink som eclear liquid Protein, such as the protein shots they sell or zero carb isopure--both available at GNC and places like that. The more Water you can get in right now, the better the constipation will ease. Set your mind to healing mode now, and the weight will take care of itself--------the important thing, way above loss in pounds right now is to allow the band to heal in the proper position--so that it is going to be able to help you lose in the long term. If you have any questions, feel free to ask, look around the site, there is tons of great info here!! Happy Healing!! Kat
  17. LOL Laura--Spanish Cue cards!!! If they don't know what you look like you could "channel" Pamela or Haydee!!! Well it is at it again here---snowing like crazy! Hoping it does not make my trip tomorrow a crazy one. I hate cancelling it, since it is a health issue, and if we put it off, there is no guarantee that in 2 weeks when we reschedule that there won't be yet another storm. So will leave early in the morning, and hope for the best. I need to go ahead and book our room. Yes room--------singular. My Mom refuses to stay by herself in the motel....so once we put Dad in the hospital----I might as well just accept it. At home she does ok, she is still very scared being alone. If something were to happen to my Dad, not sure what we would do about Mom....I don't really have room---and my brother has his issues....oy I hate thinking about it. Kinsey is feeling pretty good this morning, stuffy, and congested, but eating everything in sight, so I am letting her! I know we may hit a point that she will not want to eat, and she was down in weight from her last pediatricians appointment, so they were concerned over that. She never slows down! She eats, she eats VERY healthy by choice! Christmas Eve there was a table full of fudge, and divinity, and peanut patties, and peanut brittle. And some cheese balls with crackers, as well as a veggie tray with dip, and sausage & cheese slices. She ate every stick of celery on the veggie tray and then moved to the multi coloered bell pepper strips---red, then green! She did not eat a single piece of candy...even when offered! She is not a bread eater. She loves yogurt, and cheese...those are her snacks of choice. Followed by fruit--oranges & bananas (banamas as she says). She is 22 pounds. Last visit she was 23.5 they said. Small amounts like that can be scale issues! She eats! She is napping now--she needs the rest I am sure. Work is sending Manda home early due to the weather. She will bring her laptop home and work from home the remainder of the week. The woman who keeps Kinsey when we are all gone is in remission from lung cancer---so a sick kid is a no go! Laura, I was going to ask you how he liked his Christmas present but couldn't remember which thread we discussed it on!!! Oh yeah I can't talk about that til Judy gets back! Good Luck on your fill TracyK! ooops my girl is awake-guess I will go hold her for awhile, maybe she can sleep better. BBL~~ Kat
  18. Wendy--you may have said at the beginning, but how old is your son? I was just wondering--it might sound silly--but women have varying restriction depending upon where they are in their cycle, and have tighter restriction during TOM--wonder if young mens surging hormones causes fluctuation in their restriction as well? It is great seeing all the 40 sumthin's in here!! Kat
  19. Pamela--I have a new one for your friend with her chills. About the same time Shannon and her family and friends went missing, so did 2 boys--young men--from Albq. they were going to Colorado to Wolf Creek to snowboard--no one has ever heard from them since. Then the next day an Albq. Dr. and his fiance went missing from the Santa Fe Ski Resort. Well I had called and talked to Shannon's Dad and his wife---in the course of the call, they took my email. So they forwarded me this email from Shannon and Jason thanking everyone for the prayers and the concern, and they were thankful, and now hope that those still lost, will soon be found, and ask for us to continue prayers for that to happen. She stated concern that while people were out looking for them, they should have been looking for these others, since they were ok....and again requested we pray for their safe return, that they understood the lost peoples fears, and their families have a solid bond, and understand the fear the missing ones families have. So I am reading it, and think to myself, she is right! I got the outcome from mine I was hoping for, and there are lots of people out there still scared---so sitting here at my computer I said my little prayer, and went on with my day. When I was sitting in the Dr.'s office, the TV was on and showed the Dr. and his fiance being rescued!!! Safe and sound! On the news tonight, they refused to be interviewed or anything, they hid from the camera etc....but they are alive! So I sat there in the Dr.'s office and said yet another prayer for the 2 boys. I just have a bad feeling about them, and am hoping it is wrong. Their age scares me, they have no fear! Plus there is another storm hitting tomorrow. Hope they too get out of this alive and well! What a miracle set of events that would be!! Glad your happiness with teaching is back! We all need reminding sometimes!!! Laura maybe you need to teach me how to cook lamb---I have had it, and tried cooking it, never was impressed!!! I cannot tell you why----something about the smell! I believe it likely has to do with living here, and dealing with all the mutton (sheep) that the Navajos eat---it has a similar smell. Glad you perfected yet another dish!! Haydee---I don't have a recipe per se---I can give you a rough idea, if you want it, but I just throw things in!! Denise---has your DD's spotting stopped? (try typing that fast 3 times in a row!!!) Cindy--I just can't see Rick posing for a picture of his behind!!! Nor can I see me asking without cracking up! LOL!!! Every couple is different, and makes their own way---and if your DH going to the cabin eases things for you guys then so be it! Many women would have a hissy fit, if their DH didn't buy them a Christmas gift---but Rick and I long ago decided we would not do that! We wait til the after Christmas sales and buy us something together---that we want. This year we are still undecided...so have done nothing! My DIL is appalled! She was very disappointed in what my son chose to get her---as well as being upset that he only wanted her to spend a small amount on him. It caused them stress they could well do without!!! Whatever works for you! Opting out of the big to-do at holidays does not lessen your DH! Judy---I have no idea what I am going to teach at our gathering. I might be able to learn yours!!! Not holding a lot of hope about the sexy thing!!! Beads---I might be too clumsy! A bottle in the freezer---maybe I can do that! But what am I gonna share???? TracyK---has Macy settled in to her new room??? I am going to go buy me some fudgsicles---that must be the key! I did my 8 minutes tonight.......still barely made it! But I did it! Food was so-so. Water was not good today, was gone for too long! Back at it tomorrow! See y'all then! Hugs~~ Kat
  20. hmmmmmmmm jumbled that all up!!! Kat
  21. Home safe & sound (well body--mind is still questionable!) Kinsey has an upper respiratory infection. But with her history, she did put her on antibiotics, trying to ward off a very common secondary infection. So it was worth the trip. Lindzie checked out fine, throat, ears, nose all clear, and when the Dr. ask about her immunizations and checked her chart, when Lindzie found out immunizations were shots---she felt all better!!! LOL Lap Dancer (don't know your name!) hang out, any friend of Tracy's can be a friend of ours! Haydee, I have come to decide that men really are like dogs! LOL---they age differently!!! I was not trying to lay blame on you guys for issues, I just often recognize myself in things that are said, and in this issue, I see it with my kids, which are closer to y'alls age than I am! TracyK---congrats on the spiraling scale....mine is just happy as a pig in mud where it is at I guess, it refuses to move! I go tomorrow for my first blood draw to check my thyroid. Maybe it will help. Dinner is ready---bbl!!! Kat Awwww Tracy----how long will it take you to figure out if he will break even or not? Maybe it won't be as bad as you are thinking. We will always make room if it shows that you will be able to go afterall! Ms. Jen---I have not had time to go to the site and look around. I have no issue with where we go. I know we tried to keep it withing driving distance for Jennifur---she is not a flyer!!! I will for sure look at it this evening, and move my thoughts then to the other site----sorry!!!! I get here, and want to discuss it ALL!!! Laura, I can only imagine the fear, and disbelief you are feeling in regards to your sister. My brother experimented with lots of things, he ultimately chose alcohol to ruin his life. He had some bad times, he did 90 days in jail. That was a big help---at least got him sober! With his brain injury we didn't know if he would ever stay that way, but he has. He has been sober for close to 7 years now....Thank You God! I will pray for your sister, and for the rest of your family as you struggle to accept what you have been unable to change. ((((Hugs)))))
  22. Well I am off on the ice to take my Kinsey to the Dr. She has massive congestion, probably nothing more than a cold, but with all the new warnings about kids and cold medicine, Manda made her an appointment, and now cannot get into her car, it is iced in. So Super Granny has a van, that has been parked on the street in the sun. My car may be iced, but either way, I have something that will get us there. She also has Lindzie home----saying she does not feel good either. Could be a fun day for me!!! Will check in when I get back. Judy--not often to I have to disagree with you--but I have the bestest ever husband!!! OK OK OK----you have the best for you, I have the best for me! Like you I am thankful every day for him. Not to say we don't have our battles occasionally! They are rare, and seldom heated! More of a rolling of the eyes, and it is over!!! He may not be the smartest---in his own eyes---I find him much more so than he does himself! He very well may be the most mechanically inclined! But he owns my heart, and he tends to it daily. He has never said hurtful things to me, he is super cautious about hurting me due to my past I am sure. He never lets a day go by without telling me loves me many times-every phone call ends with I love you, regardless of who is around. He does the same with our kids, son as well. He is a kind, caring man....I am lucky to have him. And he has a REALLY cute butt!!!! Hugs~~ Kat
  23. DAILY TIP *******Get your moo juice. When women consumed low-fat dairy (such as skim milk, nonfat yogurt, and low-fat cheese) three to four times a day, they reduced their body fat by up to 70 percent, shows a study at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. "Calcium serves as a switch that tells your body to burn excess fat faster," explains study author Michael Zemel, Ph.D., director of the university's Nutrition Institute. And no, you won't get the same results if you drink calcium-fortified beverages such as orange juice: Research shows that you get the best results from dairy.*******
  24. Will hunt up a tip for the day and post it here in a few minutes. I don't know if it is the Mom in me, or the divorced woman in me, but there is so much in my heart and head I want to tell you girls! I do not mean to lecture in any fashion, and anything and everything is said with love, it is the same exact things I tell my own daughters, and I love them more than life itself! Men do mature more slowly---that is a proven fact, and due to that, when we go from being a young couple to a married couple-we as more mature of the 2, often find ourselves telling them how to do things, or correcting them--and WHAM there they go, right back to being boys and letting us handle it all! In order for a man to act like a man he has to be made feel like a man. By that I do not mean to diminish yourself in order to pump him up---just keep it in mind. Even simple things--opening a jar, or lifting something heavy gives them the ego boost they seem to require to feel "manly". On a good note, they do seem to grow out of the constant need to be ego lifted into their own manhood!!! The best way I can relate it....and tried to explain this to my DIL and failed---------so---is that it is like us still wanting to be seen as sexual women when we were at our heaviest. We were often insecure, and needed the little compliments, and comments from them to feel that way. He is now floundering somewhat in the new situation of being married.....maybe he thought he would be the big breadwinner and you would defer to him, or maybe he secretly hates the way you decorated the bathroom--he for one reason or another is feeling less in charge and therefore less manly. Young men seem to equate being in charge with being a man. Keep in mind I am using my own son as I say this. I am not belittling your husbands----I see it in my own DS. All of that said-----if it is emotional speed bumps--then center yourself and ease over them. Find an activity involving the 2 of you, that you did prior to be an old married couple, and go do it----find something you can concentrate on one another. If however, it has or does progress from emotional speed bumps to emotional cruelty---and then on to physical cruelty--GET THE HELL OUT! Divorce is not pretty, it is not easy, it is hard, it hurts, and it leaves scars-----but once a person hits you----it won't quit. The line has been crossed. I thought I could fix what was wrong, and it almost cost me my life! No one should ever....EVER.....hurt you that way. ****off my soap box now**** I am going to go ride my 8 minutes, and think of what tip I need to add!!!! BBL! Kat
  25. Note to self, quit typing in the dark----y'all are going to have to do your best to decipher---editing is a PITA!!!!!! Kat
