Saundra - Its at the Elk Elementary Center on Friday nights. Extreme Country Dance Club's Friday Night Dance Schedule: Basic Beginner Line Dance, Beginner Plus Line Dance Class and Intermediate Line Dance Classes are held at 6:30 p.m.; Patterned Partner (Couples) Class is held at 7:30 p.m. followed by an Open Dance from 8:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The instructors there are wonderful. Becky is in charge of the entire thing and she is great. I have their numbers if you would like more info. They used to have class one night during the week as well at the Elk Lodge...but im not sure what day/time. However, if you'd like thier numbers you can call them. Becky is really nice. I also have her email if you'd prefer. Its a lot of fun. We will be back down there at some point....not ever Friday with the price of gas....but every now and then. Its great exercise! I will definetly let you know when we are heading down there.

Kyla - Jeannie said she will have to see. So..hopefully she will come!

Kyla - no problem. I will be there tomorrow night as well. I would just try to get him to attend class with you some night and then he could at least check it out. Bobby was so not into going when I began...in fact I went an entire year before he started. I had to win a bet with him in order to get him to go. But it worked....and he got out there and tried a couple of dances and had a hard time...but in the bet he had to attend 3 classes. By the third - he was hooked. Now I cant get him off the dance floor! :tt1: Jeannie emailed me and said she heard I was the "ringleader" for Zumba. lol

Zumba is $5. Linedancing is $3. They are both a LOT of fun...and Great Exercise! Zumba is Monday nights and linedancing is Wednesday and Thursday nights. Im always at both if anyone is interested in going. :tt1:

Elizabethdb - Congrats!!! You are losing inches! If you are exercising you may be building muscle...which weighs more than fat and is more compact. Great Job! And great motivation....im one of those that will "rest" during an exercise tape. lol But if im around a bunch of people...I'll nearly kill myself trying to keep up so I dont look stupid. lol

kdlee - lol I probably should have mentioned it. I forgot I have a different pic on my myspace. :cool2: The classes are beside Nohe Office Supply in Parkersburg at the Tai kwan do (spelling?) place. Its at 7pm. There are no men there....its all women. So you dont feel embarressed or anything. The women that are there dont make you feel bad at all.....the skinniest lady there is a lot older....probably 60's. The rest are heavier trying to lose weight. So I didnt feel bad at all. It would be great if you were there! I will definetly be there on Monday! I love it! Im wore out when I leave...but its great! The teacher is really great too! Parking is in Nohe Office's parking. (I had no idea when I first went.) lol I parked across the street.

OMG! Belly dancing would be a BLAST! I would so do that! If I ever see a class around here...I'll do it......provided that I can wear a long t-shirt. I would just be doing it for the exercise...I dont need my gut hanging out for all to see! lol I hear it gives you killer abs! :cool2:

lol....its quite a bit more organized than this and more steps. That one doesnt seem to be much of a work out. Plus.....we dont have the Bling! lmao :cool2: Its a lot of fun and a Great Work out!

If anyone is interested in getting some more exercise in.........I attend a Zumba Gold class every Monday at 7pm. Its $5 per class. (And if you google Zumba.......that is not what its like.....lol Zumba Gold is a toned down version of Zumba....its for people who have knee problems, dont exercise as much, etc.) Its a great workout and the people there are really nice. Trust me....I dont enjoy going to an aerobics class where there are tons of skinny people and I leave feeling fatter than ever! lol (Good times!) People arent frowned upon if you need to march in place to catch their breath. Anyways....if anyone is interested.......im there every Monday. :cool2:

I tried calling the insurnace about the fills and they need the procedure code. :thumbdown: I will get that on Thursday during my appt and call back. I hate insurance companies...you'd think they would have some sort of search field.

I dont know if mine will pay for them or not. I have BCBS also..so probably not. (?) I know I would have to meet my deductible before they would pay anyways. I was just curious what they ran...im like you....I'll pay for them regardless. I justify it in my head with...what im saving on food...will make up for the cost of them. When you asked your insurance if they covered them - what did you call them? Lapband fills? Or is there a technical term I should use when calling? Thanks for all of the info. :biggrin:

That sounds neat. I would like to be able to see what it looks like. How much do fills cost? And is insurance pretty good about paying for those?

There is such great information on here!!! I just want to say Thanks to everyone!!!! I cant wait until I get the surgery and am able to attend the support group meetings! I will definetly attend...I want/need the support! I can totally relate to not wanting to post pics!!!!! I HATE the camera! UGH!!!! I know people look at me and see what is in the picture but I dont like to see the pictures. Its so depressing! I only allow headshots! Im hoping to one day be able to take a full body pic and not get sick to my stomach when I look at it! ? - Do we get weighed in a gown with Dr. Kaplan? Im freaking out worried I will lose too much weight in the 6 mo pre-op diet and then have the insurance turn me down! Im so stressed out about this...I just want it so bad!

I would definetly attend the meetings as well! Kdlee- Please post Dr. Kaplan's website once you hear what it is. Maybe it will have a message board. ? That'd be cool!
