Thanks for the insight. I ask because I love sushi, which was a huge pre-surgery "weakness". Not in the sense that it's unhealthy like some people are with sweets, but I craved it. I still do. I'm just wondering if I'll be able to eat it when I can transition to solids...
I have an innocent question... Why are you eating Big Macs if you want to lose weight? This really has to be a lifestyle modification and eating food like that 4 days after being banded...it just doesn't look like you're committed to making that change. I was banded on July 3rd and I'm still in enough pain to be reminded of why I did this, which was to get healthy and lose weight.
I was recently banded on July 3rd. I'm really looking forward to having full liquids soon. I'm so eager to see how this progresses. I've heard in some places that I can't eat rice anymore, but in some places I've read that I can. What's the deal with rice??
