my surgery is monday am 5 am ... omg ...

omg i have 2 beagles 2 !! anyway , pre op diet consists of liquid for 2 weeks prior .. i cannot believe you are not on it yet . carnation breakfast, and broth , water , decaf tea and coffee , and sf popcicles they need your tummy clered out from food so u dont get pnumonia

wow i lost 5 lbs in a week .. now i weigh 212 i dont know what my bmi is and would like to get a ticker to find out , had my lovely upper gi and bariom is nasty .. i got poked so hard in the wrist that i cried .. omy .. i hope the surgery goes well .. i have a great surgeon and i think he is wonderful so i hope so

HEY I CHEATED TONIGHT AND I am wooried about my upper gi .. seeing that u are a nurse ? is that ok ? i wa sliquid all day and then boiled chicn and sald . spra y on dressing

hey ! i am also getting banded on the 29th .. the pre op is difficult for me but i am somehow doing it ... i cheated tonight and ate lettuce .. i hop ethat doesnt mess things up

i go for surgery on the 29th ! im on my pre op liquids too .. how are you doing with the diet ? im hangin its hard , because we still have our big tummies and still want food

tortillas are very bad for u .. and being im from san antonio , i know they are terrific , but .. a bread and mabe you shouldnt ..

peanut butter sounds harmless . but i have not been banded yet .. i guess if u can get it through a straw ?unless he said clear liquids .. and clear means clear

i would check with your doc about dieters tea .. it sent me to the hosp once ... with your new tummy .. i dont know if you want to have explosive bowels

what is pb .. i dont even know what slimed is ?? lol

why wouldnt you be able to have sugar free gum post op? its not like you will swollow it

Thanks for your words of wisdom ! Im sorry to hear about your complications . The main thing is that you are ok now . You are a true example to me . I hope I do get the surgery and if you want we could keep in touch . I love talking to you . Hope your day is goin well . :thumbup:

Beamer , So nice to hear from you . You sound like such an interesting and sweet man . What a blessing to be able to travel all over that way .. only in some peoples dreams , like mine :smile: . I am so glad you are doing so well . You certainly dont look big at all from your pic . I too have diabetes and thats why I am set for this surgery . I do not have an approval yet and I dont have a date . Hopefully I will be on my way to feeling better , get off my meds and looking better too before everything heads south .. lol . I didnt know you had all those surgerie though .. penile implant ?? are u sure ? :wink2:Anyway .. you take care and again , it was great hearing from you . Tammy

Finally~~~~~ my psch evaluation is scheduled for this Thusday !! I hear they set your date pretty close to after that .. I have alot of hopes and some fears . I guess reality will really set in when I have the surgery , but like you guys I am doing this for my health .. who else is gonna do it but me ??I am diabetic and I think the long term effects of diabetes really sucks to think of that future . So chicken broth and tea it is for me I guess and Im sure if everyone else in this room can do it , I can and hopefull ill look as great as the rest of u guys !
