i checked my messages a little while ago and the surgeons office called to let me know that my insurance has approved for me to go in and talk with the surgeon who i would like to do my surgery she said that at this appointment i could also get my surgery date and what clearances i did to have done before surgery i knw its not a surgery date yet (hope i could have 1 soon) the medical assistant also said that they were sch. surgerys for july and august and that they were pushing for april for mind yippi!!!!!!! like i mention before i know its not a date yet but im still so excited i waited along time to get to this point and am ready to move forward thank you all for letting me share my excitement on here!!! :smile::smile2::smile:

:rolleyes:i my name is trudi and im currently going through the process of getting lapband im waiting for approval to see the surgeon and everything iv already done the 6 month maintence. im 35 a single mom of two girls and basically would love someone to chat with and help keep my spirits up if any1 is interested please get back with me asap im from michigan.

does any1 know of a video that i can download to see the lapbanding procedure being performed i would kinda like to see 1 to kinda have in mind what is going to happen to me if any1 knows any please let me know thanks.:thumbup:

hey there and way to go im new to these boards and have found excellent info i just finished by 6 months on weight management and have lost 18 lbs to date im waiting to hear back from insurance on approval to go see the surgeon good luck to you and keep me infromed on hw things are going

does any1 have priority health insurance ? and if so hw long do they usually take to approve for surgery?

hello my name is trudi and im new to this website i just happen to stumble on it by accident lol im in the process of going through the steps needed to get lapbanding done iv had my 6 months weight management already and waitng for the insurance to get back in touch to figure out what to do next iv been overweight almost all my adult life im almost 36 im 5 foot 3 and weigh as of today 263 i really started gaining weight after my oldest daughter was born shes 11 years old i also have a 6 year old to im defidently ready for the road im traveling but im scared that i wont be able keep up with it once i get the banding done iv always been able to lose weight mostley by starving myself but have always put it plus more on im scared i might fail at this attemp like i do every other time does or did any1 else ever feel this way too and is this normal and also my kids know im having surgery sometime soon hopefully but they dont know what kind what should i tell them if any1 has any answers please let me know thanks:mad:
