  1. I am in the process of working my way through the pre surgical workups. I hope to have my surgery this summer. I will visit my surgeon on Mon. 5/12. What I want to know I'm afraid to ask because I don't want him to think I'm not commited.
     
    will I never be able to eat pasta or bread again. told it would swell and block me. I am willing to make the changes needed to lose the weight but I can't imagine the rest of my life w/o these items. I'm Italian very Italian.
    I hope someone can give me some insight.
