  1. Hi everyone I am currently 26 years old and I am due to have gastric bypass surgery on Tuesday December 18th. I have been told by my nutritionist to go on a two-week pre-operation diet only consisting of Medi fast protein shakes. I was very strict on the diet until tonight I completely broke down and had a 12 inch italian bread with scrambled eggs in it. I feel completely guilty. But I was starving due to the fact that I have not had any solid foods since December 4th. I was feeling really emotional/irritable and overall starving. I started my weight-loss Journey at 304lbs. Today I weigh 290. During my 6 months of nutritional monitoring I was not exactly doing my best I did not lose much weight because I was not consistent .But just on the shake diet that I have been on I have lost a total weight of 7 pounds. I feel so quilty like I ruined my whole diet. I know the whole point of this is to shrink our liver size which mine was 19cm which is over the normal by like 3cm from what I have read. Have any of you screwed up like this before? And do you think me being very strict for the remainder of the 5 days will do me any good after I cheated horribly tonight ?
