  2. I developed acid reflux real bad after having the stomach flu. And now I have barits esophagus. Sorry about spelling on that. Or are you asking why I did not have bypass when removing the band? If that is the case, it is because the doctor requires the healing time for the stomach. And also the insurance requirements, mandate a 6 month doctor visits and working with nutritionists.

  7. I just had my lap band removed and I am hoping to have the gastric bypass done by the end of the year! This is a new bariatric hospital for me, and the entire team appears to work well together. It is not a matter of checking off seeing this specialist or that specialist. It is about making sure I am ready and fully committed to succeeding. I have read a few posts already, and this feels like a good community to be real with me as long as i am real!
