  1. I just had mine on Tuesday as well. I was really nervous too, one thing that helped me was noticing how many other folks were there getting the same surgery and then talking to them in pre-op and on the floor afterward. I've had some minor issues (swallowing) that have kept me a here a bit longer, but pain has been well managed and I can see I'm losing weight rapidly already. One thing that really encouraged me was that virtually everyone who has had it say the first 2 weeks suck, but after that it's not too bad and they are all happy they did it and will do it again. Hang In there!
