I hope you feel better ASAP! I just got over an awful upper respiratory infection that started with sore throat then lots of head and chest congestion and hacking up my lungs! Took me about 10 days, but glad it wasn't closer to my surgery date. 1 week from today my life changes! And that sucks about that time of the month, I finally went last year and had a uterine ablation procedure that has helped me so much with mine, I rarely have any bleeding at all now!

Good Morning! We had nice weather last night which was good for the Trunk or Treat even we went to, they had a really nice turnout and man was there a lot of candy being passed out!! I am on day 5 of my liquid Optifast diet and am doing pretty well I think. I did sneak 2 little mini candy bars last night though and then I felt really guilty and mad at myself! BUT, according to my scales this morning, I have lost 8 lbs so far. Just trying my best to stay positive, have a very busy day at work today which has tried to get me in a bad mood but I am not gonna let it! Keeping a smile on my face Good luck with your PT appointment today, I hope they can help you! And congrats on the 3 lb loss! Hope to hear from more of our November gang today and hope everyone has a great hump day!

I am gonna try this for lunch with my Optifast vanilla! Sounds yummy!

Wow what a selection!! I HAVE to do Optifast only, 5 shakes a day to equal 800 calories. STARVING HERE!!! LOL and wiping the drool as I think about the Halloween candy I DON'T get to eat when I go to a Trunk or Treat event with the kids this evening :/

I am and it sucks!!! lol I am hungry trying not to be hangry at work! But the good news is, my surgery got moved up one day so now it will be on 11/9, woo hoo!!

Oh wow!! Good that they went ahead and did the ultrasound. And lucky you, only having to do one week of the liquid diet! Wish I could be that lucky! I am counting down the days till my surgery. Ok so I keep hearing about the gas they put in your body to help with the surgery and that you need to start walking asap after surgery, to walk the floor at the hospital... I am scheduled for RNY bypass on 11/10/17 at Mayo Clinic in FL. Just curious if any others out there will be having surgery there as well?!

Hi Everyone! This is my first post here, I finally got my surgery date, November 10th! Can't wait but starting to feel a little nervous as well. I start my 2 week liquid pre-op diet 3 weeks from today. I have to admit... I am eating the bad things that I will have to give up after surgery until I start the liquid diet!
