  1. Chris, Can't wait to worry about loose skin! Out of curiosity, did your insurance go by your starting BMI for approval? Is your surgery going to be out patient? Mine will be barring any complications. I'm super excited for you! Best of luck! Tasha
  2. Hi Christina, Eviva is formerly known as Puget Sound Bariatrics and Puget Sound Surgical Center. They're mainly based out of the Shoreline area. They have a full spectrum of services, but for me I'm going to be having the sleeve. My insurance will cover it only after I have 6 months of medically supervised diet. So, I've started that, not as bad as I thought it would be. As much as I don't want to wait, I can see the importance of it, getting used eating smaller portions every few hours. So far, I've had my psych eval, meeting with the dietitian, Bod Pod and Med gem tests. Later today, I'll have my fitness assessment too. I see that you're only a week out! Are you excited? Nervous? Tasha
  3. Hi there! I'm currently going through the medically supervised diet with Eviva. A requirement for my insurance to cover. Dr. Landerholm will be my surgeon for my vertical sleeve gastrectomy. Have you chosen Eviva? Tasha
