  1. I had my upper GI series done today and was told I had reflux. I don't normally have any heartburn or other problems associated with reflux and also had the ekg done. It indicated some type of issue. Has anyone else thought you were fine and after you went for your testing found out you had problems. Do these issues prevent you from having the surgery?
