  1. Me too! I was just about to post about this. It's the only time I feel crappy. I need a new vitamin...one that's easy to tolerate. Thanks for posting this, I"m hoping for suggestions as well.
  2. So, I'm two weeks out from surgery today, and I had to go to a relative's birthday....at the Cheesecake Factory! [emoji30] But guess what? I ordered one egg scrambled, and a slice of avocado, and I survived! Woot! Woot! It's not easy, but it's going to be SO worth it! I'm only down 10 lbs, but the scale is moving in the right direction. I'm so happy that this will be my last fat summer. We can do this, ya'll [emoji4]
  3. My family had pizza night last night too, and I'm 10 days post op. It's not pizza, but I went to Whole Foods and got this amazing Cream of Tomato soup. It tasted sooo delicious! Once I move to puréed foods, I'm going to make that ricotta bake that I see floating around. I know it's hard, but we can figure out a way to make this work and get healthy!
  4. Have you tried drinking something other than water? Tea, diluted juice, broth? What about sucking ice?
  5. I found that sipping water was hard, but today I realized that sipping clear soup broth and cooled herbal tea was much easier. I know that water would be best, but the soup broth and tea are mostly water and have helped so much. You might want to give it a try
  6. I think my regret is because it's so much worse than I thought it would be. I'm hoping I didn't make a bad decision. I did this to be healthier, and I feel so sick.
  7. I had mine 4/18 too, and I wish I was feeling as good as you! Im Super uncomfortable and nauseous, and having lots of regrets. I know that's normal, but it's a scary place to be. I'm glad to see you're doing so well, it gives me hope!
  8. 3 days post op here, and needed to read this so much! Thank you! I feel so sick, and full of regrets. I know that I need to take it one day at a time. Thanks for the encouragement ❤
  9. How are you doing? How was the surgery/recovery? I am also thinking of using Dr. Pleatman soon, and would love to hear your experience!
  10. Yes! Just tell them you'd like the cookies donated. My daughter is a brownie, and we get tons of folks to buy to donate
  11. Wow! Interesting! Can you tell us how much the vsg portion will cost? Also, since you won't be using insurance for the vsg, do you still have to follow the insurance requirements (6 month supervised diets, etc) or are you considered self pay? Thanks,
