I ordered the Protein mix from the site, 30 grams in one tablespoon. I put it in my spit pea Soup tonight and I had no idea it was there. GENEPRO medical grade protein. Also, pre surgery up until the last two days I was allowed one meal with 4 oz chicken breast or turkey. And I had a lot of homemade jello! I am a week ahead of you! Warning, I had a log of gas pain and had to keep on the nurses for pain meds. Also, Besides that, I was feeling great but didn't pass gas. No problem with urination. They kept saying 24 hrs, then it was 24 hrs from coming into ICU (I have sleep apnea, so they put me in there) Then after my second night, my doctor says everything else is good, not to worry, and he's sending me home. At 2:00 pm, waiting for my friends to pick me up, I pooped! It's been a long time that I was that happy! Keep posting. I just had my duodenal switch done 94 miles away. I had a friend drive and I am paying the hotel bill for three nights. Anthem BC is supposed to pay for mileage and hotel for anything over 50 miles. I am not sure if they will pay for the two hotel days for my driver, while I am in the hospital, though.
