I just got approval. Thought it would be in November.. but found out my date is on HALLOWEEN!!! Holy Crapcake!! Tomorrow, I begin my liquid pre-op diet. I am a wreck! Please, anyone who's had their sleeve done within the past few weeks.. speak to me. Tell me how you did right after surgery. How was recovery? How was the pain? Did you take GasX strips? How are you now? Should I wear a costume to the operating room? (just kidding about the last question) My surgeon is Marc Bessler ... did anyone have him as their surgeon?

Did anyone have any complications? Acid Reflux? Surgery issues?

Hi. I'm 5'0". I'm awaiting my insurance approval, and most likely I'll have surgery in November. I'm curious if anyone had Dr. Marc Bessler do their surgery, from NY. I'm also wondering if anyone here is experiencing any acid reflux. I've read so much about how bad it can be. I'd also love to hear about your immediate post-op experiences. Were you in pain? How bad was the pain? Was it from gas or something else... I feel like a sponge. I want to get as much information as I possibly can. I'm full of anticipation, and yes, fear too. Thanks in advance for listening to my rambling... LOL

Looks like Nov for me too. Waiting the "ok" from my insurance. Because of all my co-morbidities, general consensus is that I'll be approved.
