  1. Hi everyone! I just found this app and I'm so thankful! I have been approved for the sleeve, and surgery is scheduled for September 19. I had to go through the 6-month physician supervised weight loss before my insurance would approve me. I lost a little, but since I am hovering at a 40 BMI it was a little like playing Russian roulette with the scale. If I dropped below 40 I ran the risk of a denial. I hate those games you have to play! Now that I'm approved I'm starting my lifestyle change in earnest. Protein focused, carb-light meals, cut out soda, cut down on caffeine. I start my 2 week pre-op diet in 18 days. I'm excited and nervous! Does anyone have any tips or tricks on how to get through the pre-op fast? I'm so afraid I'll be starving, lol. Also wondering; what are your exercise routines? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
