  5. Thank you. I know it's the right choice it just sucks because who wants to wait longer, right? Lol. Oh lord. I guess I'll be staying in bed all weekend rather than prepping for surgery. Sent from my SM-G530T using the BariatricPal App

  7. After reading a lot of stories I've learned that people typically wait about 4-6 months from the very start of this process to the day of surgery. I started my process July 17th 2016 (the day i walked into my surgeon's office) and I'm scheduled for surgery on August 29th. So my process has taken a little over a month. Which means that I haven't been on prilosec for long nor have I been on my zero starch diet for long. Also I've gained 5 lbs. They said I had to either maintain or loose. So let me get to the point here.... The night before my pre op appointment i caught the flu and my heart rate was high. My preop appointment was Yesterday. My surgeon's nurse said I should wait till im.not sick.anymore. she said I should work on loosing some wight and be on my diet longer and be on prilosec longer too. She said she's never experienced anyone moving this fast and thought I should reschedule. I don't know what to do. what you do? Sent from my SM-G530T using the BariatricPal App

  13. Hello wonderful people....today I am starting my liquid diet. I am scheduled for the 29th of august. My surgeon requires that I lose or maintain my current weight but from what I have been reading I decided to take it upon myself to lose some visceral fat, especially around my liver. I have two cartons of chicken broth and have no clue what I'm doing. What were your liquid diets like? Sent from my SM-G530T using the BariatricPal App
  14. I flew from California to halifax Canada almost in tears because every time I put my seat belt on I would push down on my fat just so I didn't have to ask for an extender. My husband was watching me and asked me if i wanted him to ask for one for me. I was so embarrassed and he probably was to. There was no more slack and I made it work some how. Undoing it felt like flinging a rubber band across my lap. Your legs look great by the way. And most of all congratulations on the seat belt slack. Sent from my SM-G530T using the BariatricPal App

  18. Great response. I'm pre-op and after my own research I learned that skin is ruined if it's stretched out so yeah.....I'd rather loose it fast but I agree with all of what u said here. I want to be small and I don't think skin matters. I do it in the dark as it is already lol. Atleast now I'll be able to fit into the lingerie and shape wear I want. Sorry for the tmi Sent from my SM-G530T using the BariatricPal App
