My thought is you've waited this long and done the hard work might as well bite the bullet and embrace your new life style . My date is 7/20 so on day 5 of my liquid diet. Literally cried over Jello last night lol. The closer it gets the more apprehensive I become but after a stern talking to and asking the question "Why the heck would I want to delay a happier healthier me" I drink another Protein shake and keep myself busy. Change is hard and we are chasing our lives in the biggest possible way. It helped me to remember the reasons I started this journey and keeps me chugging along. Would not say its impossible, but you will not be yourself for sure. I went back to work in a week thought that was soon. Just have your meds, Vitamins and liquids figured out.
