  1. Getting sleeved next month and I read in here about "foamies." Never heard of it before. Sounds awful and I am the biggest baby when it comes to vomiting. It's been a phobia since I was a little girl. Also, seems a lot of ppl get GERD/acid reflux after being sleeved. I'm starting to panic. Should I cancel surgery because now I'm having doubts about it? 15. I'm just starting too but I'm a cash patient going to Mexico so I don't have to take classes. I do have to start the Atkins phase one for now. I need to lose 20lbs before surgery. 2 weeks prior to surgery I have to start the Vitaleph shakes. I'm getting sleeved June 30th. I'm also scared and keep going back and forth in my head if I'm making the right decision. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  16. Thank you so so much!! I pray I get the same results when I wake up and I'll be talking to everyone again when I get there. Last words before going under will be, "nausea meds!!!" Lol Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  18. Anyone here have their sleeve surgery performed by Dr Ortiz? Did he and or the anesthesiologist, listen to your concerns regarding nausea and pain? I'm going June 30th for mine and I'm beyond scared and nervous! I worry about waking up in pain and nauseated/vomiting. I'm doing my best to let everyone know upfront that with prior surgeries (in the states) I was given something so I wouldn't wake up sick. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  20. Having surgery in Mexico with Dr. Ariel Ortiz on June 30th. Excited, scared, and nervous. I'm hoping that I'll be like some of the YouTube patients that wake up like nothing has happened. How can some people be so lucky? Lol Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
