Have you looked into CareCredit?I haven't looked into that no!!! Thank you! they won't cover under any circumstances. Even if medically necessary. Stupid insurance. My insurance does not pay for weight-loss surgery but they do pay for hernia repair. Because I had both procedures done at the same time, my weight-loss surgery costs me much less than usual. unfortunately I don't have a hernia ????

I appreciate you feeling that way, but have cut everything that we can cut. I'm not saying that in the next five years we couldn't save the $21,000 that we would need to save, but there are people out there willing to help and donate. We don't live outside of our means at all. But not everyone that is looking for help is looking for a "handout"

Did anyone ever utilize a GoFundMe to help provide for their surgery?

Does anyone have any experience getting an appeal through Bluecross of Idaho? My plan does not cover the sleeve so I am just curious if anyone had experience with them?

Hey you guys! My name is Salina! I am 28 and I have done months worth of research (books, websites, forums, blogs and YouTube) and I am SO ready to get sleeved. I have been over weight my whole life and have had two babies. I am 5' 10" and almost 300lbs. I have my seminar and consultation January 27th and 28th but I have to wait to schedule the surgery because I am trying to figure out how we (my husband and I) are going to pay for it because insurance doesn't cover the surgery. I just can't wait! I am praying that we are able to figure out how to pay for this surgery!!!!

So proud of you!!!! I still don't have my operation scheduled yet (hoping for February) and I already dream of feeling this way!!
