  1. I have the all or nothing mentality too so I bought hand weights and if I can't get in cardio I can at least do some strength training and yoga. Still work up a sweat, don't eat and I feel good about myself again. I also ended up building a gym in our basement but I know that isn't an option for everyone.
  2. I've been wanting popcorn and apples. I also really really really want Diet Coke.
  3. Greek yogurt is another option for carbs. Before I saw my trainer (just now cleared for strength training again), I typically drink a yogurt Protein shake or had a string cheese with a banana. Just remember to make sure you are staying hydrated BEFORE you work out and since it's so early in the morning maybe try some Poweraid. My struggle with intense workout is not being able chug Water. Good luck and stick to it!
  4. I also have an IUD and have breakthrough bleeding since my surgery.
  5. I appreciate the offer. I go see mine on Monday so hopefully she will have some tips for me.
  6. I am a little over 4 weeks post surgery. My issues have been low blood sugar (a new issue) and just overall feeling lousy. Some days I feel great and others I am very sick to my stomach. Some foods I am fine with and the next time the same food makes me sick. Due to the blood sugar issues working out was a struggle and now I've lost some of my stamina. I was used to walking 3 miles a day and now I am struggling to get 2 miles in. I am trying to be patient but it's hard when my body is failing me so to speak. Of course, this is for long term benefits but I like instant gratification. lol
  7. No, I had my surgery at Parker Adventist and haven't gone to the support groups yet because I am in the middle of marching band season with my daughter. My life becomes mine again in November. I will save the clothes and happy to pass them on to you; I'll let you know when they stop fitting which I am hoping is soon. I am stalled right now and trying not to be frustrated. As you can tell I only recently found this forum and it's been a wealth of information since I feel like crap most of the time and quite often wonder why I even did this.
  8. I live in Parker and work in Highlands Ranch. I am more than happy to pass along my 18's as I am finished with them. I really love some of my clothes and it's bittersweet to see them go.
  9. I had to gain weight too but ended up wearing ankle weights because it was harder than I thought and I felt terrible because I was eating terrible.
