December 15 in Pittsburgh!

So what were some things (looking back to your surgery date) that you all had, wish you had or NEEDED to get you through...? Any and every suggestion welcome! I'm less than 2 weeks to my surgery date and I'm getting very nervous. Thanks all!

Things I look forward to not having to deal with : Being uncomfortable 24/7 because I'm fidgeting with my shirts riding up and my pants sliding down. Chub rub My feet hurting from working at a job where I'm on them most of the day Missing out on plans with friends because I am not sure if I can fit wherever we're going My anxiety that has always been so bad when I've been at my heaviest. 2.5 weeks until my life changes for the best!!

I'm getting more nervous by the day! Still super excited and not about to change my mind, but it's the great unknown to me!

How is it going so far?

I have no week before pre-op liquid diet! My bmi was under 50 so they said they don't require it! So lucky

We'll be one day apart!!! So exciting!!

Yay we're sleeve twins!!

I had to do 7 months of visits with my pcp. My bmi was under my surgeon's requirement for having to do a liquid diet pre-surgery... So I'm pretty psyched about it!!

I got the call an hour ago that my surgery is approved!!!! I should be getting my surgery date soon . Can't stop smiling!

Hello! I will be in December, tentatively the 28th, I have some time off at Christmas and am hoping to be able to slide in on my vacation and not tell my coworkers. In in Pittsburgh, PA I'm in Pittsburgh too! should be having the surgery in november or december. where are you getting your surgery?

i have felt confident telling friends and my close family that has always been supportive of me, but i will say that the family members that have always been judgmental of my weight (even when i was thinner), I am not telling them until after I have the surgery. That way there is no way that their negative comments or "concern" can bother me.
