  1. Of course it gets much better! I am 3 weeks post op tomorrow. My second day was the worst! Violent headache and awful pain and high blood pressure !! I was miserable. Finally the gas started moving on the third day post op. Yesterday I came home from being out and chugged a glass of vegetable juice. I " forgot" I had surgery. It came right back up but that is the first time I have vomited
  2. I am almost 3 weeks postop. I couldn't stand the premier shakes at first. I like them now. The chocolate tasted way to sweet to me the first few days. I know that sounds crazy because I am a sugar addict. I make my shakes in a nutribullet now. I put in one premier shake, 1/2 banana, a little bit of Greek yogurt and a few teaspoons of nonfat dry milk( adds extra protein) then I add ice and blend. It tastes great like this!
  3. I am brand new here. I had my gastric sleeve on 8/25/15. I am surprised at a few things that I am experiencing. The first one is that I don't have to sip, sip, sip. I can take a normal drink of water. The second thing I am surprised at is that I have not vomited at all. I am surprised by the fact that I still cannot tell when I am full. I will about 1/4 cup of cottage cheese. It's satisfying but I don't feel full. Yesterday I was able to eat 2 hard boiled eggs. I thought maybe it was too much food but I had no after effects.
