you poor thing wrong thing to ask on this thread.. u probably could but are taking a risk.. my doc said a month .I'm 33 and have a life so I had to be realistic and ask..

Yes mama -- we got this... Just think of how good were gonna feel and look in a few weeks, months... that's the only thing that gets my nerves under control... and yes you are very lucky to only fast for 1 day, mine was a week and that was tough, i wanted to cheat every 5 minutes but i didn't lol Good luck and keep in touch--- your sx is wen? mine is tom...nerves are crazy right now

I feel The same exact way--- im completely on your side

Surgery is tomorrow -- Nervous , scared , excited and hoping i am making the right decision

so hoping that it gets better .. stay positive. .this too shall pass..just think of how good your gonna feel in just a few weeks

I feel the same constintely contemplating if I am doing the right thing..will I be miserable the rest of my life from not eating or being over weight that's the question I ask myself every day ..lol

August 18 here... is anyone else only on a fast for 1 week?

Thanks for all the encouragement. ..I almost fell off the liquid wagon tonight when I was cooking my husband dinner..I literaly licked a piece of bbq chicken.and it actually did the job of satisfied me lol..very sad.. few more days till my surgery and 3 more days of clear liquid. .nervous but excited. .

Im right there with you sister! My surgery is Aug 18 and I am 5 days shakes only.... My girlfriend who was in our boat last year said it will get easier day 4,,, i;m still hungry !!!! lol but less miserable actually had a energy spurt this am .. Hope it gets better!! i think my mind is more hugry then my belly --mind over matter
