  1. kirajh I was just curious why you went to Mexico for you LB. I was just wondering I live in Michigan also and had mine done in Pt Huron by Dr. Bhesania he and his staff are fantastic. I'm not being judgmental at all don't get me wrong it sounds like you had a great experience and I'm glad for that I'm just curious. God Bless
  2. I don't think you'll have trouble adjusting to not drinking with your meals. I was the worst for taking a big bite of something and washing it down with a gulp of diet coke. Your meals are all liquid for so long anyway I don't even miss it. I did learn the hard way however not to eat to close before I work out then the hour wait for water is not good. No worries I'm sure you'll do just fine.
  3. Thanks apparently the shoulder pain is common. Trust me the passing gas part is not gross they use gas in during the surgery to distend your abdomen so the faster it breaks down and dispels the better off you are. I'm 19 days post op and have little to no pain on my incision sites, the port site did take the longest to heal and every once in awhile I can move the wrong way and tell something is in there but according to everyone I've talked to that will never go away. A small price to pay in my book for my new body that will soon emerge.:clap2:
  4. Hi everyone I am new to this site. I was banded 12/13 and was wondering if anyone was experiencing left shoulder pain and having a hard time taking a deep breath it's been this way since my surgery.
