  1. After almost a year of looking into, going through the process and jumping through all of the insurance hoops it is finally over. I was banded one week ago tomorrow - Tuesday, 12/2.
     
    Just as I expected the surgery was not a big ordeal ... now the pain meds and the side effects. ugh! won't go there again. Only had pain med once .. in recovery .. and consistently refused it after that.
