  1. I'm in Citrus Heights. I'm having surgery 10/12 at Sutter Roseville with Dr. Shadle.
  2. My surgery will also be 10/12! I'll add you on mfp, libra916.
  3. Hi everyone! I thought I would be having surgery in November, but they were able to schedule me for October! My RNY is scheduled for 10/12/15, with Dr. Shadle at Sutter Roseville. I start my pre-op next week!
  4. Definitely! I originally wanted surgery near thanksgiving, but as time went on, i kept wanting to get it sooner! I was surprised I was able to get an October date, since i had heard my surgeon's office usually has to schedule dates a month or more out!
  5. It was authorized some time this evening! Yay! I'm going to follow up with my surgeon's office tomorrow, and hopefully get scheduled!
  6. Nope. The website still says "pending further review."
  7. Even with the holiday, it shouldn't take that long!
  8. That's horrible. People are so mean.
  9. My surgeon's office submitted for approval yesterday. All is done, so it shouldn't take long, but I'm anxious because if I don't have surgery in early October, I'll have to wait until late November because of schedule conflicts. So, I just keep checking online, hoping status changes from "pending" to "approved".
  10. @@Dream4tc That would be great, thanks!
  11. That's great to hear! How did your appointment go? Did you get all of your questions answered? It went well. All my questions were answered. Everything on my checklist has been completed, and my insurance requirements are pretty low (basically, the surgeon just has to say I need surgery) so I don't expect approval to take long. :-)
  12. I just finished my last dietician appointment today, so hopefully I'll hear good news soon! I'm hoping for an October date, but realistically my RNY will be in early November. :-)
  13. Try calling the California Department of Managed Health. 1-888-466-2219. I went to a seminar recently where one of their attorneys told us that they can help people figure out what's going on, they will review bills and coverages.
  14. I did! I couldn't resist a super cute dress that was on clearance for $12. It's 2 or 3 sizes too small right now. My surgery should be in November, so I'm trying not to shop.
