  1. Congrats on getting your date! My surgery is tentatively scheduled for June 30. I had my EGD today, which was my last big test to pass. I'm nervous too, but all the success stories on here encourage me. Excited and nervous at the same time!
  2. Does it keep the water cold?
  3. Great book Alex! Thanks for sharing all this information. It has really helped me in my decision making process. Looking forward to the journey!
  4. Bowling Green, KY
  5. I put the support group meeting on my calendar. Looking forward to it!
  6. They told me to expect for my first appointment to last at least 2 hours. I was told I would meet with the dietician and the surgeon. Since I'll be a self pay patient (I sure wish my insurance covered the surgery), I hope I don't have to wait too long for surgery. I guess I'll know a lot more on Monday.
  7. I don't know when I'll be having surgery yet. I go to my first appointment with Dr. Nwanguma on Monday. I'm very excited and look forward to this journey. Glad to hear Kysunshine had a good experience with Dr. Nwanguma
  8. Hi Perk4756! Glad to meet another Kentuckian on here
  9. I'm meeting with Dr. Nwanguma for my first appointment next week. Anything you can share with me would be great. Thanks!
