Mine is an internal stitch through a muscle. It's being aggravated by the 58 lbs I've lost and my belly fat apron pulls on that muscle. The pain is now to where I'm told not to walk unless I have to and they will reevaluate again on Tuesday. When on meds and I cough or bend wrong it's like a 6 if my meds wear off and it happens it's a 9. The pain starts at the incision site and slowly moves towards my hip, I can follow the pain on the surface of my skin as it moves. Takes like a minute from start to finish, really sucks. So I went ahead this morning took my pain medication and as soon as they kicked in walked 2 blocks. Was excited I was able to do it. Came home did some sitting around had a sugar free pudding with some protein added. Dozed off woke up 2 hours later and now I can't even get up to go to bathroom without real real bad pain. Hope I didn't mess something up. Pain is almost as bad as right after surgery. First time I felt nauseous from pain. Needless to say I'm done walking till Tuesday. Can't wait till Tuesday I need someone to examine my situation this pain is not reducing and feels almost like something is getting torn with even the slightest bend of the waist or even the smallest bend forward or side to side. I'm usually good with pain never take meds, but this is killing me. I try to walk but even on mess I might get to the end of my street before it feels like I'm further damaging myself. Called my doctors nurse and they said that my pain is coming from a nerve that sometimes gets sewn into the incision repair they do on the inside of the incision. So I am basically unlucky Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App

Sitting upright in a chair, standing without an arm supporting my belly apron, can't bend over at all without real bad side pain, this inability to bend effects me the most can't pick up anything I drop or anything lower then say mid thigh. Also can't lean forward while sitting. As you can imagine toilet tasks are excruciating. Luckily with this diet it's only number 2 like once every 2 days. OK I'll stop my whining now. I wish I was able to get your amount of walking in. I have very sharp pain about 2 in to the left(towards back almost exactly on my left side) of my left most incision that makes just about all movement pain inducing. Heating pad is only way I sleep at night. Part of my problem is I've already lost 55 lbs from my hw and the loose fat/ skin tugs on this same area. Surgery date 23 march, full liquids start tomorrow. I'm getting everything in just using pain meds at night. But the side pain really makes doing much really tough. Can't bend much if at all. How long till this goes away or gets better. This pain and the already growing weight of skin apron from lost belly fat pulling at that same side pain sucks bad. Incisions are healing fine. I wish, surgery was the 23rd and I still can't bend over, cough Etc without significant pain. It's all from the muscle wall under the far left incision. All the incisions are fine healing well, very little bruising. But that muscle wall area sucks. Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App

Gas pain is now duller, some incision pain in the left most incision. Walked 3 times as of this posting, hospital goal is 4 more today. Still nothing at all tomm drink chapstick is OK I guess, can't wait for ICE CHIPS! Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App
