  1. I am finishing up the last of my appointsment. I have my pych eval. on tomorrow, then one more appointment with my doctor before they submit all the paperwork to my insurance company for approval. During this process, I found out that I have sleep apnea and high blood pressure. I thought I did not have any comorbities. So I'm little afraid of these things. However, I am starting to get anxious about having the surgery. I kind of wish it would be over already. I'm ready to start losing weight and moving on the next chapter of my life. Here are some things I worry about: Will I be able to loose as much weight as I need to? Will I be able to control my eating? Will there be a lot of pain after surgery? Will I be able to get my mind in the right place to stay healthy? Please any advice would be great! Thanks, Mo
  2. Hi, my name is MoJo and I have been seeking out information about the gastric sleeve for the past year. Since December, I decided I want to go through with the surgery. I've been reading and researching like crazy about this procedure. I have all my appointments set up for February; sleep study, EGD, Pych eval, NUT, etc. I'm starting feel a little nervous. I am currently 5'5" and my weight is 246. I just found out I have high blood pressure, which I didn't have before. I am feeling anxious and a little nervous about the surgery, and whether I will lose all the weight I need to lose, and also whether I will be able to maintain the healthy eating. I'm 48, and I am premenapausal and I have hypothyroidism. These are some of the reasons I've had a hard time losing weight, so I'm praying that after surgery, I will not have any problems dropping the weight. Anyway, I would love to hear from anyone who may be dealing with these issues or just any advice or suggestions.
