  1. thanks for the info because I was hoping they were included. Now, I'm wondering how aggressive Dr Myers is about fills. Based on my research, the fills are just as important as diet and exercise with losing weight. Also, good to here from you Hunter
  2. I'm so happy for you Heatha. I'm glad to here from others going through the Fresh Start program. I was doing fine in the beginning...then started researching deaths with the bypass and I have not been the same. I completely stressed myself out and I don't know how to get back to myself. My next dietian appt is Dec 8th. I told Dr Myers that I had PCOS and wanted the best surgery for me. Simply because I desire more children in the future. I agree, lap band is my option at this point. I'm expecting surgery in January and I pray that Anthem pays for the lap band.
  3. hey there!!! I understand what you are saying. My husband told me he liked me the way I am and that I'm not THAT big. Well, I'm solid so my weight is spread evenly. But still health issues: sleep apena, high blood pressure, II diabetes, PCOS, and my BMI is 41.8. My advise: Really take a moment to think about him body, mind and soul. It may be that he has HIS own insecurities. Complications with or without surgery is NOT the true reason. My husband is truly scared I will lose weight and lose my mind--possiblily hit the club and find new love. He just won't say that. So, there's other underlying reasons believe me. Band is more safer...do what's best for you. Like you, my grandmother died at 54 and I just buried my aunt at 51 on Aug 10th.
  4. I'm also going thur Riverside with Dr. Myers. I went to the seminar about two weeks ago, in one week Annie called. My insurances covers it 100%, not sure about the 500 consultant fee. But I really hope so. I did my visit with Annie Tuesday and all day visit Thursday. My last dietian appt is 1-8-07. It would be great to have it done by 1-1-08. But I can wait, I guess:rolleyes! I'm really scared by the gastric bypass...after doing research It has really scared me. I also have PCOS so I think the band is my best option. Well, for me seems to be more safe. As any one heard from MaMaT? I too have heard nothing bad about Dr. Myers...I plan on jumping on some LB groups soon. Best wishes to all and Fresh Start buddies!:whoo:
