  1. I'm 4 days post-op and told only my hubby, my sister and mother-in-law (who I am very close to). Just didn't want to hear any negativity or unsolicited advice. Now that I'm postoperative and doing well, I don't give a crap who knows!
  2. 1 hour (they have two surgeons working on you at the same time)
  3. Got out of hospital yesterday and everything went pretty well. Had some wicked nausea that couldn't be controlled. 5 different meds tried then the 6th one worked.
  4. Welcome! The waiting can really drive you nuts. I used the time to prepare and freeze a bunch of meals for my family to eat the first couple weeks. Tomorrow is my big day! Hope to see you on here again.
  5. Bypass will be Monday the 11th. Thanks to all the experienced people here for all your advice. Please pray for me and my surgeon. Thanks!
