  1. For the last 4 week's I've been complaining about this upper left back pain that radiates down my left arm and hand I've started noticing this pain one week after surgery, I didn't get it checked out asap because I was thinking it was gas pain from surgery....so week 3 the pain had been consistently painful, so I went to my urgent care and the MD diagnosis it as Radiculopathy some sort of nerve damage, I was requested to do physical therapy and hope that the pain will go away.....this is really nerve racking because it's like boom!! pre op no pain whatsoever and now post op this happens ....anyone have or had this problem before?
  2. Yes...I've vomited quite a few times, its when you over eat and the food won't go down..it feels like you have to burp but nothing comes out..so the food is just sitting there until it comes up. With me I keep swallowing to make the food go down. But to no availability the saliva comes right back up with the food. ....I will never learn! Its a learning process
  3. You know I have done the same with ground chicken but my greedy daughter ate just about all of them, and left me with two meatballs..I measured it out one tablespoon per meatball...I think I might try that again..
  4. Thanks I've tried eggs every which way I can think of...I have tried the homel Turkey chilli that was pretty good..but I'm deaf will check out this website... it's like you want something good to fill your tiny little tummy but you have no taste for food.....
  5. So at 5 week's post op, I can't eat grits, chicken, pre op I love chicken but this thing don't....and mac n cheese (I don't know why I ate that mess I just had to try it) I feel like I'm stuck in the soft and pureed food stage. Can someone give me some ideas of what to eat....I'm tired of ricotta n tomatoe sauce ummm no I'm not! I can actually eat that all day. ???? But I'm tired of Beans...jello....yogurt. ...and Soup, eggs and plain oatmeal are ok but I'm just sick and tired of the selection right now....jeez I need some variety any suggestions ???? I'm suppose to be enjoying the fruits of my labor, but am scared to venture out. What are you eating? My diet is supposed to be low calorie and low fat and low carbs...ughhh

  8. I too was told that there was no need to remove a healthy gallbladder I asked why not just kill two birds with one stone and remove now rather than later because I would I hate to miss more days out from work when problems start arising...so yes I still have my gallbladder
  9. I was wondering that...before surgery I did have a few episodes with sore back pain on my upper right side but after a couple of days it would go away..now that I'm post op it's on the upper left side..I'm thinking ok a couple of days it will go away..or maybe it's just gas...I will definitely look into the lidocaine patches..thanks for your input I want to say it all the surgeon's fault...but I know that's not the case lol....it might be some underlying symptom that was never looked at.
  10. Wow..you guys are lucky I'm 3wks post op and I can only get in at least 300 if that and only about 30-40 grams of protein, I drink one protein shake for breakfast, about 2oz of yogurt or 2oz of ricotta cheese.....for lunch, I might have 2-3oz of veggie chilli for dinner or one small scramble egg with cheese in which I can only eat about 2 tablespoons of that....the rest of the day is just water! How are you guys getting in your calories it's a real challenge for me!
