  13. I just posted the same topic.I can't stand that people think we haven't tried everything! Clearly we have or we wouldn't be on this step.the same people are going to be telling you how nice you look later!!! Just don't say anything about your personal journey to them, that's what I'm going to try to do.it's going to hard tho, because it's my husband and best friend who think I just need to hit the gym
  14. So recently I posted that I was starting my path to WLS again.I didn't want to tell my husband or best friend because last time I tried they did not support my decision. My first appointment with the surgeon is today. I told both of them and as usual they think I'm taking the "easy way out". What is easy about getting your stomach cut open???? My husband is really upset but says he is supportive, wtf!!! He thinks I'm going to die, or that I'll have complications, and he doesn't want to go to a support group meeting with me.I'm so frustrated, but I'm doing this for me, no matter what this time.I'll post a picture of me once I've come from my appointment along with my starting weight.
  15. Hello, I'm just starting out and would love a buddy/mentor in the Gary area
  16. Hello everyone. I started the process to have wls about six months ago.I didn't have any support from my friends or spouse so I gave up.however I realize that this is my life and I really want to be healthy.I have an appointment on Monday to meet with my surgeon.I've made a decision not to tell anyone I'm having the surgery until right before. What do y'all think of this, advice please
  17. I'm so inspired by your story.I was in the same boat.I didn't have any support so I stopped the process, but now I'm more determined than ever!!! I'm going to go thru with it this time
