  1. Hi Tara, I'm a mom of 3 almost same ages as yours (3, 6, and 10) and I'm having my surgery on Dec 29. Congrats on getting your date set as well. We won't be that far apart. So far I took pictures (just in clothes ????) the day I was approved. I also got an app that lets me privately journal so I can keep track of my progress as well as how I'm feeling. I've also ordered samples of several different Protein shakes to try. Meredith
  2. Hi Mia, I just sent you a FB friend request, Meredith Friedberg Zuppo
  3. I started the process in February or March. I needed 4 months of weight loss classes plus a ton of tests. It then took several months to get insurance approval. Just got approval Wednesday and scheduled.
  4. Dec 29 for me!!! I can't wait.
  5. Thanks. I'm actually doing the pre-op diet now to help take it off as quickly as I can. I did take the weight off but like I said we have literally had one major crisis to another since then.
  6. I started this process in January of 2014 and completed my MSWL mid June with loosing my surgeons required 10 lbs. Between then and now crazy can't even begin to describe what has occurred, my middle daughter has had major health issues and was hospitalized for 5 days and has required tons of follow therapies. My youngest has Autism and we have had to battle with the schools, my hubby travels a ton, oh and we moved houses. I have put back on the 10 lbs and then some since then. I got the insurance approval yesterday and scheduled surgery for Dec 29. I have my pre-op day in Dec 9, and see surgeon on the 16th. I'm working on getting that weight off but if it isn't all back off can they cancel surgery?
