Hello, I'm Dawn from MN. I am being banded on October 8th. I am very scared an excited at the same time. I can't sleep at night because I just don't know what to expect. But my insurance is paying for the procedure, thank goodness, so that is one less thing I have to worry about. I am so glad I found this site, I have family support, but nothing comes close to the support from others who have or will go thru this experience. Sleepless in MN!:nervous

Hi All, My name is Dawn and I will be banded October 8th in Mpls, MN by Dr. Lederer at HCMC. I am very scared and excited at the same time. I have had a really positive experience with my dieticians, nurses and the surgeon. I have read all I could to prepare for this life changing experience, I'm more worried about the two week liquid diet I have to go on prior to the surgery. But I know I can do it!!! I will continue to read all the posts here for more information and to learn about your experiences, so keep um coming.
