  1. I definitely needed pain meds. And think I have a pain tolerance. Actually had to get it refilled to! I have a high pain tolerance but have had to take meds around the clock and if they wear off I am hurtin for certain!

  5. Sorry I haven't updated. Surgery was Monday, I am still alive!! It has been a very very rough couple of days. A lot a lot of gas and abdomen pain. Today I am feeling better. Yesterday I was switched from iv pain meds to pain pills an those are helping tremendously!!! The pain pump sucked. The first day with the amount of pain I was in I did cry and ask myself wtf have I done. My fiancée reminded me I would have that feeling so that helped. Each day is getting better. I have been doing great about walking, that has been much easier since they removed my catheter yesterday. As long as I get enough fluids on my own today i will go home.

  11. Lol I have my nose and tragus pierced. Bags are all packed house is clean, laundry is done.. Ready to go!!! I asked my fiancée to hold on to my jewelry so he can stick them back in as soon as I get to my room. I've had my tragus since 2008 and I think my nose since 2009 so they are not new but I still have the original jewelry in them so I've never even had them out 15 min so I don't know how fast I heal or close. My cousin has her nose and eyebrow pierced and hasn't worn jewelry in them 10 years and they are still open where as a friend of mine has had hers the same length of time as me and her tragus was tight and almost closed in 30 min. So I guess everyone is different. I just don't want to have to go through the healing process again if I have to repierce, too much maintenance haha.
  12. My surgeon says about 1 in 40 people get them and it's just from your body healing "too well"
  13. Is it bad that my surgery is like a day and a half away and all I am worried about is my piercings closing!? Lol
  14. My dr told me 1200 calories a day and 60g of protein.
  15. 5:45 am is my time Monday! Picking up my actigall, b12 shots, and zofran now.
  16. My dr recommends 1200 calories a day and 60g of protein. After the first two weeks post op he doesn't want people on shakes or protein supplement. Wants our protein coming from foods.
  17. My dr said to not start vitamins until 1 month post op and by then I should be able to swallow a whole pill no problem.
  18. Wow my nut and dr told me 60grams of protein and 1200 calories a day
