What's Your Favorite Store Now?
Following this thread and thanks for all the suggestions! I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that I actually enjoy shopping now. I hated it for so many years.

Marriage Problems 2 Mo. Out
This might not be the popular opinion but here it goes. I was in an unhappy marriage for 16 years. I stayed for all the wrong reasons. I "settled" for what I thought I deserved instead of what I really wanted. Three years ago, and while still married, I met a man that I knew was my soul mate. He was married at the time too. Three years later we are both divorced and married to each other. I can honestly say I am the happiest I have ever been in my entire life. People don't change. I spent the better part of my life trying to make someone change and it never happened. Life is way too short to "settle". Follow your heart and be happy!

I'm Overweight! Let's Celebrate!
I have been at a plateau for a few days now but I'm not worried about it. I've been sick with a bad cold and unable to exercise or get to the gym for a few days. Hoping to get back there tomorrow and back to walking so I'm sure it will start moving again.

Best and worst "compliments"
After losing 104 lbs my nail tech pointed to my stomach and said I still need to work on that! Hello!! I've got another 40 lbs or so to lose then it's off to the plastic surgeon for a tummy tuck.

Gobble! Gobble! Turkey Day Pics!
I spent Thanksgiving with my family. I was thinking as I was running all over the kitchen preparing dinner how last Christmas I could hardly stand to cook and how I would get winded so easily. My blood pressure what sky high last year. I am down 104 lbs in the last six months and was running circles in my kitchen with normal blood pressure. So thankful for my sleeve!

Just Home From The Hospital....
Congratulations on your surgery! My gas pain was the worst thing with the surgery. The gas would lodge up in my left shoulder and there were times I would swear I was having a heart attack. Lots of gas x and walking helped. Good luck and know that you will feel better and better as each day goes by!

I Lived Through This Surgery, My Sister Didn't.
I am so sorry to hear of your sister's passing. This surgery, like any other surgery, has it's risks. We all know that going into it but most of us think it won't happen to us. I can't imagine how devastated you and your family must be. Take comfort in knowing your sister is dancing on the streets of gold and with you on your journey.

3Rd Day Of Pre Op, Husband Wont Stop Crying, Am I Doing The Right Thing?
I will tell you what I told my family. If I didn't have the surgery, I was headed for a sure death or life in a wheelchair. My knees hurt so bad. I had already had three knee surgeries and one since my sleeve. I had sleep apnea for 13 years. I no longer sleep with my cpap. My high blood pressure is gone and so is my high cholesterol. I can walk 5 miles at a time now. I could barely walk to the mailbox and back six months ago. I can't even begin to tell you all the ways my life has changed. I was crying as they wheeled me into the OR but I told myself what I was doing wasn't living. I am so glad I went through with my surgery. It was the best decision I ever made. Hang in there. You will be saying the same thing six months from now!

Are You Having Someone Stay With You In The Hospital?
My husband stayed with me. I was only there for one night. It wasn't really necessary but it was nice to have him there.

Dehydration- Day 5 Post Op
I got dehydrated when I was about four weeks out. My surgeon was out of town and my PCP was closed for a week for vacation and I was fighting going to the ER because I knew they would admit me. My ex husband is a critical care nurse so we had my PCP call in a script for fluids. He picked them up at the pharmacy and came to my house and gave them to me. Clearly everyone can't do that but my point is, don't wait. I was in really bad shape by the time I finally sought help for it. After I got only two bags of Fluid, I felt like a new woman and have remained hydrated ever since. It's worth the trip to your doctor or ER to feel better. Good luck and feel better!
