  1. Minwin doesn't the stall thing just bite! I am only 2 week about, but have been stalled all week. Like you a 10th if a pound would give me cause for celebration. I want to work through the honeymoon period and get as much off as I can, so I have been focusing on moving... What r u doing to keep your mind off the stall?
  2. I agree I'm scared to death I've done this and I won't use the tool... Doesn't help that I've been at the same weight for the better part of a week. I know there is a 3 week stall that a lot of people talk about, but since day 7 I have lost more than 1/2 a pound.... For the last 3 days I have been very focused on getting moving...
  3. Ohh .. My... I offend myself with the breath... I understand it gets better as we get into real food and get off protein shakes... I have 2 boxes of Larousse, gum and listerstrips all for next week at work.
  4. Shall258 welcome, we were both sleeved by Holden on 12/20 at trophy club... Surgery twins
  5. Simply glad to hear from you... Keep that walking going!
  6. Clmdfw- you r right about the moderation piece... I would love to see people in person, just worried that with work, my daughters school and dance schedule, family and church commitments and the fact that my dr is in colleyville I will never make anything
  7. Like you guys I am able to drink well, and thus was moving ahead on adding more things to my diet... The PA at my surgeons office cautioned me and said that while I may have good capacity the staple line is still healing and things like pudding, and yogurt are tougher to digest... So I am back to shakes soups and clear liquids... Needless to say I am bummed as I thought I was doing quite well for myself.
  8. I wonder if this sort of forum is the same as a support group environment.
  9. Sorry you guys had a tough couple of days... I had my follow up appointment, and I've been moving through the diet too fast... Back to puréed soups, shakes and broth for 2 more weeks...
  10. Tamij I agree... Awesome that you got out and tried something... My husband had surgery a year ago and he gets a virgin Bloody Mary every time he plays golf... Says it's heaven. Mama spike, I have lost 12 lbs since surgery. And nothing last two days. Surgery was just on 12/20... 12 lbs isn't shabby.
  11. And I've stalled... Knew it would come, not excited... But ok.
  12. I completely understand the preto thing... Told my hubby I feel like I just gave birth and am home from the hospital.. Jeans don't fit Etc... Guess I'll give it a few more days. Mama spoke, I got out as well, went to SAMs and Kroger with the family.
  13. Tami j- I'm getting 8 oz of a shake, and 12-16 oz of anything on the clear diet... of course I'm taking my time but.. it's good... I wish I had a magic bullet. Can't wait to hear about the white chili
  14. Holy moly! That rocks! I've lost 28 from the day I started getting ready for pre-op... But nowhere near that since surgery... You r rocking it... How are you clothes fitting you?
  15. I just moved to cloudy liquids today, I had a vanilla protein shade with 50g of protein! Trying to start my days with as much protein as possible so that I'm not tired. Going to slowly introduce the new liquid.... Scared that some may disagree with my new tummy, and I do not want to get sick.
  16. Slowly getting my house back together after Christmas... Feeling really good, but scared to push myself and cause an issue. What are you guys eating/ drinking? I'm still drinking the isopure, water, Powerade, and the some sort of clear soup...
  17. About 600... but only the calories that are in my liquids ... not really managing that now
  18. Misspoke I am so sorry... keep at it take it slow... and don't hesitate to call you surgeon... do u have a script for nausea?
  19. Thanks for this thread... I am 4 days out and I am hungry as well... not sue if real or imagined as a truckload of food just walked into my kitchen for Christmas... but I just stopped and took an acid reducer... hope that helps.
  20. So who is hungry? Just sleeved on 12/20, and I was fine until my mother brought in all of the snacks and dips for tomorrow. My husband is cooking dinner, but we are just having tex-mex so he won't start working on it until tomorrow... now the entire family is at Mass and I am in a house full of food I can't eat... oh this vicious head of mine...MERRY Christmas!
  21. MERRY CHRISTMAS GUYS! I hope it is fabulous for each of you.
  22. I have tried the green tea, banana something, and orange... have done well so far.
  23. I also had my surgery there... nurses were very aminiable...except one Adrienne, she just didn't seem to have the same passion as the others... maybe it was just a bad day. I hope your experience is as good as mine was
  24. I think you are the last one of us to go... good luck.
