  1. Hello all, I had my surgery on August 27, 2013 and immediately suffered major complications. I spent 11 days in hospital and another 13 days at my daughter's house because the pain I was having was crippling and prevented me from climbing stairs. I am home now I am feeling better and I have lost 31.5 pounds. My only issue is getting in the protein. Good luck too all of us.

  5. Just curious, I remember my nutritionist said I can have 8oz once a day, however when? I'm almost 3 weeks post op.
  6. I had my surgery August 27, 2013, and I'm still in the hospital!!!! I now had a total of 3 surgeries and the last one left me with 2 drainage tubes in my stomach and barely able to walk. The pain I have experienced is unbearable and my body underwent a battle that I was not expecting. I do truly pray of you are much better and I eventually catchup. ..
  7. Yes me too I keep crying for the littlest things. I haven't had w bowel movement neither, did yoyr doctor recommend milk of magnesia? I hope you feel better as well.
  8. Hi everyone, I'm still in hospital. I just could not drink and my pain was unbearable. My doctor ordered a cat scan and within a hour I was back in operating room. There was a slight blockage on my intestine, 3hr surgery in top of Tuesday's surgery and yall know I am in crippling pain here. I can't do anything without assistance. I can't stop crying, what did I do to myself! Now they said if I can do all the things necessary I can go home Monday.
  9. Hi everyone I hope all of you that had your surgery this week are healing well. As for me I am still in hospital. I am having difficulty drinking an lousy 1 oz. In a hour. I have terrible gas and feel full making it harder to drink. There not letting me leave until I consume 3 ozs. How's everybody doing?

  11. My surgery was about to be cancelled! I was in tears. The hospital did not have a 'tool' my doctor needed and was refusing to use a replacement tool she never used before. They gave me a new date for September 10th and I was livid!!!! Then they found the tool in another hospital 40 minutes away, so now the surgery is back on praise God, however we are waiting for the delivery of this much needed'tool' Why is this happening and why the hospital isn't supplied properly???? Surgery was to start at 9:30. Now we are waiting.... will keep updated
  12. You'll never get any sleep in the hospital. At least that is my experience. Praying for a speedy recovery for us all. I don't have to be at the hospital until 7:30. The wait is a killer lol

  15. Praying for all my surgeries buddies, excited for you all! I will be behind you 5:30am report to hospital!!! I wish I would have read don't shave within 12 hours of using the antibacterial soap, I just did!!! But I'm using soap tonight and again in the morning, hopefully it won't burn to much. EXCITED!!! :}

  17. Good morning my surgery is this Tuesday, I just finish packing and saying bye to all my favorite foods. I am nervous and excited. I am expecting a lot of pain which I know I can handle what worries me is the emotional withdrawals from food!!! God's protection, strength and guidance too all of us. :}
