  1. Thank you every one. It's good to hear. This has never been in the family, So I guess I'm a black sheep, lol. I'm still going to the gym every day after work it helps. Went yesterday after the news. I walk on the treadmill for at a minimum of an hour some times an hour 45min. It feels so good. Each time I'm able to raise the speed by two mph. Yesterday I was at 3.6, it felt good other than the fact I got new shoes and they got to my heals. So I had to stop at an hour and go buy band aids :-) I had asked for a hysterectomy 3 yrs ago cuz I knew, intuition, this day would come but the Drs wouldn't go by my intuition and take out so called healthy organs. So I'm honestly not surprised but had been expecting it. I'm a little numb, I guess. Not sure how to feel. And can't wait to get the junk out, finally, 3 yrs too late though. I worry about my daughter. I haven't told her its cancer and am not going to unless I have too. We've had one heck of 2 years w my now ex finding himself a GF. Her harassing me by texting horrible things, sending pics of him n her together. Monday eve at almost midnight she called 2 times and woke me up. I didn't answer and texted her back to ask her to stop, and I didn't say it that nicely either. So I'm trying to recover from a divorce from the love of my life for 25 years and I WILL recover from this too. This group has really been heaven sent for me. You all are a gift and I thank you. I THANK YOU so much. Gen :-) 12/15/12

  3. Regret is always a hard thing. try to think positive. You were in a great place for them to find something is wrong. You'll pull through it, think positive :-) Gen :-) 12/15/12
  4. When I had mine, it lasted 30 minutes. Gen :-) 12/15/12
  5. Lap hysterectomy will be either the 29 or 31. I find out the exact date tomorrow and time. Dr said cancer but most likely stage 1. Unless it spread to tubes or ovaries. However, I do have a cyst on left ovary as well. That was found when all other testing was done. Staging will be determined after the hysterectomy. I should know the staging in the 1st week in Feb. Stage 1 is best case scenario cuz the hysterectomy and removal of lymph nodes associated with it will take care of the cancer. So fingers crossed that its at stage 1!!!!! Gen :-) 12/15/12
  6. So I hop out of the shower, putting lotion on as usual and rub vitamin e on incisions. I have this one that bugs me cuz there is still a scab. I'm not into pulling scabs off. Come to find out, it isn't a scab. I pulled and it is a suture line I pulled out just enough to see what it was. Eew!!! I guess I'll call the Dr to see what to do about it. Gen :-) 12/15/12
  7. I loved using coconut milk too in my shakes before. Liked almond as well. Maybe we are getting to the point where we can have it. :-) That would b nice :-) Gen :-) 12/15/12
  8. So tomorrow is my first oncology appt. little nervous, but I hope to get these organs out of me that are giving me issues :-) Darn things!!! Gen :-) 12/15/12
  9. Everybody is different. But you really have to start of slow and just drink. Forget those 1 oz cups if you're still using them. Just take a bottle of water, flavored water and take sips. More sips than every 15 minutes. it has to be more like every three to 5 minutes. Eventually you'll be able to take larger sips/drinks. Just remember the new pouch is like a funnel, water doesn't stay in it long at all. It basically funnels right on through it. So no harm in stretching it. Gen :-) 12/15/12
  10. Good job ladies. I also think I'm going back to shakes 2 times a day since I work out an hour or two a day. Our bodies needs the protein to lose the weight. Gen :-) 12/15/12

  15. I weigh by scale mostly. But do use tbsp to measure as well. I religiously record everything in MyFitnessPal. I try to plan next days foods the day before. So I'm not in too much of a hurry getting out the door to work :-) Gen :-) 12/15/12
