Has anyone had the surgery after being treated for cancer?

My kids are all grown, but I understand where you're coming from.....but......this is the best gift you can give them!

Oh thank you ..i appreciate that so much! I don't think I'll really get much sleep tho...I'm just getting my things together and will lay down for a couple hours...doubt my mind will turn off!

That 10 days really crawled for me too...but now I'm just a few hours away! Today is the first time I've really had time to look around here and I'm super inspired! All of you are amazing and so supportive!

I really have no advice for you..I'm new here myself! Surgery in 8 hours and I'm having gastric bypass

Last couple days I've been trying to think about what I want to eat before my surgery...it started feeling like I was on death row requesting my favorite last meal haha! Wrong wrong wrong attitude!
